It’s quite a challenge, but very satisfying when you get it right. I reckon I’ll be drawing him more now too.

To anybody who is tired of ‘yet another George portrait’: this is why I keep drawing him, over and over. Besides the fact that he’s my favourite.

If anyone gets sick of your George drawings, then that’s their problem, innit? Same with me drawing Paul (and the Fabs in general); if people tire of it, then it’s up to them to not look at my work. I could draw these lads forever and never get bored of it. Sure, I’ll try to draw other people as well, and I only post a small selection on my Facebook wall, but I just love the Beatles the most and so I’ll draw them. Over and over and over again. And so will you, because you love them too. Whoever has a problem with that, can just shove off, right?

Why can’t I thank your post twice? Or three times? Or sixty-four? Thank you for saying that.

Because , of course, I knew that… it was just my guilty conscience saying I ought to draw the others more. And I’m working on a Lennon/McCartney one right now. But first…

@Beatlebug & @Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^< – I love original artwork of all kinds, especially drawings of John, Paul, George and Ringo. You both rock for sharing your talents.

Well, after my last one, my muse went on holiday (thanks JPM-Fangirl for that phrase), but I’m back!
This one’s dedicated to JPM-Fangirl, Ahhh Girl, and all you other Paulettes Out There.
Fought with Paul for a while, he was being stubborn, but victory was mine at last. I was surprised by how well Jane came out, considering I’d never drawn her before and hadn’t looked at her recently either. Sorry the scan is a bit low-res. (FI)

As @Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^< said in her thread, she and I had a draw-off using the same photo. Here is hers: https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..3/#p197096
And here is mine:

@Beatlebug @Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^< You are both very talented (I say this about as often as I don’t obsess over Paul). Always keep drawing! Are you interested in a career or is it a hobby for ya’ll?

Thank you!
Just a hobby for me. I wouldn’t mind if someone wanted to buy one of my drawings, but I am well aware nobody’s going to give me any money for them. That’s okay though; I fear doing this as a job would suck the fun right out of it. I’ll confess I’ve been having these daydreams about getting good enough to do an exhibit, but knowing me, I probably couldn’t be arsed to do the required work to get to that point! So I’ll just keep enjoying myself like this.
P.S. You piqued my curiosity; how often do you not obsess over Paul, @KaleidoscopeMusic?

Those are some high-quality drawings, but perhaps it’d be hard to get serious money from them. Still, that one with Paul is exceptional, even for someone who isn’t obsessed with him. Speaking of, he must be wonderful to draw since he has such a symmetrical face. Keep at it as a hobby, then! At least you know you’re doing it because you love it. That’s smart. I used to write poetry and am starting on songs, but it’s harder because when I wrote poetry, I wasn’t really thinking about it as something serious, which made it a lot easier for my muse.
Hm, I suppose during those sparse moments of time when the acceptance creeps in. So not very often.

Actually, his face is incredibly asymmetrical. But yes, it’s lovely to draw him, and I’ll keep at it for sure, just as SG will continue to draw George, and do so incredibly well!

I it! Very amazingLet’s do something like this again soon!
INDEED! *rummages in Beatlepics folder to find next victim*
@KaleidoscopeMusic wondered aloud
Are you interested in a career or is it a hobby for ya’ll?
Just a hobby. I’ve been drawing since I was a wee thing and amn’t likely to stop anytime soon, but I’m not interested in drawing professionally because, as JPM-Fangirl said, that would take all the fun out of it.
KaleidoscopeMusic also said

It really depends on the perspective–sometimes, that is true, but other times not so.
JPM-Fangirl contradicted, with an air of experience
