Incoming rant for those who care, which I hope is not too complicated (and no, this is not April Fools.)

I currently have a dilemma that is affecting the activity of this thread: It is not a fault of the site (otherwise I would’ve posted this in the Getting Better section) but that of my tablet, of all things!  Amazon recently updated parts of my Fire tablet, including how I can upload pictures. Before this update, I could upload straight from my tablet’s photo gallery (where all my artwork is, as well as pictures I’ve taken/downloaded to post to other threads later) instantly without problems. Now, when I want to ‘Add files’ onto this website, it automatically takes me to a different place which isn’t my photo gallery where I’m supposed to upload pictures from. The problem is this new place is across everything on my tablet and takes forever to load. Just now, I was going to upload a teaser for my near finished Beatley comic strip. I waited about 10 mins for the new place to load before giving up. I thought it must’ve been something to do with the amount of pictures I have stored on my photo gallery, so I went there and deleted 54 copies, drafts, pictures I’ve already posted etc. and tried again. This time, I waited 15 mins for this thing to load before giving up again. It’s honestly driving me around the bend.

I feel by the time it will eventually load, the web page will refresh itself, meaning I will have to go through it all again. I really hope this doesn’t mean I cannot post anything visual here again. In the meantime, I will try and delete some more old stuff from my gallery to see if that decreases the waiting time, as well as contact support and do some other things to see what is affecting it. The solution may be to get some sort of extension lead and upload pictures onto the site from my parents computer, but I don’t know if I can find or buy an extension lead ATM. If the case is that this new thing will prevent me from uploading artwork for good and I can’t find a solution, I will try and continue keep this thread running with poems/stories I make up and the occasional SoundCloud demo every Now And Then .

Looks like the tables have turned. I can upload from my gallery again! In celebration, here’s something I did a while back, but forgot to post – a Paul collage!

And the comic strip is on it’s way…

Not much of a comic strip as a full page spread, but I’ve finally finished it!

Now that is out of the way, I should be posting here more regularly!

I’ve based their outfits around what they were wearing for their performance/skit of California Girls on The Jack Benny Hour:

I should also mention that there was some consideration for an actual Beach Boys cartoon between the 60s and 80s but nothing came of it.
