@Starr Shine? That’s my favorite!

Pretty good, pretty good. Some of the changes were a little abrupt, but overall very nice.
@IveJustSeenAFaceo Yeah, it wasn’t the best I could’ve done, like the transition into Bungalow Bill, but I will probably make more like this and I can only get better, right?

@HeyTrud Thanks! I should have another video I’d previously made up tomorrow, interesting Beatles facts.

New video up: 10 Things You Might Not Know About The Beatles…
I originally made this video for an old YouTube channel I had, and it was blocked mostly everywhere for my use of Get Back (Love version) in the background. Now I’m re-posting it on this new channel, with a cover of Norwegian Wood by me for music.
I had made it for casual Beatles fans or people new to the group as an interesting video, you here will probably know most of the facts.
Thanks for the feedback on my last video! Please tell me what you think this one/my cover and tell me what facts (if any) you didn’t know!

I did a cover of I Should Have Known Better earlier today, or Yesterday I guess. Ill put that up tomorrow… I mean later today. Although I think I could’ve done better, something sounds off in my opinion.

Your medley is quite good, I loved it, though some transitions are very abrupt. It made me remember a With The Beatles medley I did for my first (and now deleted) channel. I might redo it.

Thank you very much! You should put it back up/redo it, I’m subscribed your videos are great! How do you remaster though? I find it hard to get all the instruments isolated.

Here’s a cover of Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix! Not my best work, but definately not bad! Didn’t want to butcher the solo so I did a short improv based on the beginning of the real solo. It’s not a full cover as I only repeat the verse a few times, so it’s only a minute and a half!
I hope you enjoy! Please tell me what you think.

Sorry I didn’t answer before, Mr. Kite, but the main thing I use to remaster is a multiband compressor; with this, I can visually see the lows, mid-lows, mid-highs and high frequencies so I can balance from lows to mid-highs to reach the same volume peak, with the highs being around 6db down of the other three. If needed, I use a graphic equalizer to enhance the lows (generally from < 30 to 100 hz) and highs (generally from 10 to 12 Khz).
For isolation, I use the graphic equalizer; still, I have discovered that drums and acoustic instruments (such as guitars) if mixed in the same track/channel, cannot be separated due to similar frequencies.

I recorded a cover/mashup of Wonderful Tonight/A Man I’ll Never Be, not sure if I should include my vocals though because I’m a horrible singer and the music is pretty good… don’t wanna ruin it.
Edit: I’ll just leave the vocals… I apologize to anyone who’s ears start bleeding.

Here it is, a mashup/cover of Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton and A Man I’ll Never Be by Boston. My singing, as I said, isn’t that great, but I hope you enjoy the music!

Well, since this Saturday, because I am doing homework and started to listen new music, I heard your cover. It’s good, just don’t be shy, cos’ you have a good singing voice. This pretty Saturday have been very inspiring and uplifting for me, and I might start to record my songs which I couldn’t do before because of fear. Listening to covers and original songs from people like you gives me the push-up I need. Keep on singing, Mr. Kite! And someday, you’ll guarantee a splendid time for all and top the bill!

Cool stuff up there, Mr. Kite – an excellent display of an assortment of talents! Very well done. A few notes:
0. Some excellent editing in this medley, and great use of footage!
1. Since you asked…I did not know that Ringo was left-handed (or I did know once but forgot.) The other nine things I all knew. Nice guitar playing on that “Norwegian Wood “.
2. “Taxman ” remix/mashup was really well done – I especially liked what you did with the guitar solo.
3. I’m glad you used Clapton’s guitar obbligato and nothing else, because that’s the only thing about “Wonderful Tonight” I ever liked! And you shouldn’t worry about your singing at all – it kinda reminds me of Alexander “Skip” Spence’s classic album Oar (if that means anything to you.) I’d much, much rather hear the Boston song. (I don’t think I’ve ever heard that one on any rock radio station – or anything else from Don’t Look Back, title cut aside.) Where did you get the idea to combine those two – just recognized that they had the same chords or were in the same key or whatever? The combination actually makes me appreciate the Clapton song more!
I’ve never subscribed to anyone’s Youtube account. I will seriously consider making yours the first!
(Question: Can I ask what was the source of the keyboard and orchestral footage you used in the medley?)

0. Thank you very much! The keyboard was from a tutorial for In My Life, I couldnt find footage of GM playing piano, so that had to do. The orchestra is from this video here, and the guy hitting the drum at the end lined up perfectly with the orchestra drum in the song when I put them together, so I was pleased with that.
1. Glad there was something someone on this forum actually didn’t know! And thanks for the compliment on Norwegian Wood !
2. Thanks, I thought the timing was a little off on the solo, but if you think it sounds fine I feel a bit better about it.
3. Im feeling better about my voice with all of the positive comments, and I’ll be sure to look up Oar later. And I love Clapton, but Wonderful Tonight has always sounded too sad to me for the subject matter. I prefer A Man I’ll Never Be also, but just a little. Now deciding to put those songs together was something my brain did on its own. The last time I listened to Wonderful Tonight was about a week ago (well I listened to it last night but that was after I had uploaded my cover), and it’s been longer since I’ve listened to any Boston (their music was on my old computer which crapped out on me, and my iPod which I can’t find the charger to), but I was on the BB and there was a topic in Beatles books Wonderful Tonight (Wonderful Today) so I just looked up the chords and started playing, when I got the the end of the verse, A Man I’ll Never Be just popped into my head and I thought that it fit really well with Wonderful Tonight. I looked up the chords and it didn’t use the same chords and wasn’t even in the same key! I transposed it so they were both in the key of G, Wonderful Tonight’s original key, and it worked really well!
I would really appreciate if your first subscription was to my channel! Glad you enjoyed everything, there’ll be more soon!

The medley is good. A few of the transitions are a bit sharp but nothing off-putting and some really bits like “all the children sing” cutting to MMT and the crashing ADITL piano chord matching up with footage of Ringo and Paul.
The Clapton/Boston cover i liked. Sounds like you need to be a more confident in your singing as its in no way bad, I’ve heard far far worse on records that top the charts or get heavily praised on those Talent shows.
I look forward to hearing more of your work, tho at least mention it here as i dont have a youtube account so cant subscribe.
