I was thinking about the birth of Stella weren’t there major complications and Stella and Linda almost died? I’m not sure if Paul would want to go through that fear again…. but on the bright side it did give Wings its name And I guess it must have been good to know that Linda and Stella were fine afterwards

People must be on the edge of their seats waiting for Mays question.
*sporfle* The first answer about him mother was touching, but the last two have been… unenlightening. Seems like Paul himself is already bored by the concept.

One answer got posted while I was on hiatus:
This month Paul answers the fourth question in our feature ‘You Gave Me The Answer’. May’s question comes from Steven in the U.S. …
Steven asks, ‘What are your highlights from the ‘Wings over the World Tour?’
We caught up with Paul recently during his all-new “Out There” tour which began earlier this month at the Mineirao Stadium in Belo Horizonte, Brazil to find out…
Paul told us: “For me, the highlights from the ‘Wings over the World’ tour are Madison Square Garden, New York and The Kingdome in Seattle. And after a year’s work of trying to achieve the impossible – forming a band after The Beatles – we made it. The smell of success was sweet.”
The climax of the world tour was the incredible performance at the mammoth Kingdome in Seattle, Washington, which was watched by a staggering 67,000 fans who listened to Paul and Wings perform a setlist full of classic songs, including Venus & Mars, Band On The Run , Let Me Roll It , Jet , Bluebird, The Long And Winding Road , Maybe I’m Amazed and Yesterday . This remarkable concert was brought to life in 1980 with the concert film ‘Rockshow’ which has recently been fully restored and remastered from the original film and audio masters.
The American leg of the tour – 7 weeks and 31 concerts – also became the name of the 1976 live album, ‘Wings over America’ by Paul and Wings, recorded that summer on their only US tour. Paul said “We finally proved that we could be a really cool band – play to American audiences in the same way the Beatles had and have the same impact, in a different way. It was a buzz – a huge buzz.”
And the June Q&A:
This month’s question comes from Amanda in the United States who asks: “What is the most inspirational thing someone has ever said to you?”
To find out Paul’s answer we spoke with him whilst on the road with his “Out There” tour. Paul replied,
“Thank you for your question Amanda. I once heard someone say a certain major star was very humble. Eric Clapton said, ‘The great ones usually are.'”

July question answered:
Summer has well and truly arrived here in London, and around this time of year people often kick back and go on their holidays. This includes Paul who will soon be taking off a few well deserved weeks to hang out with family and friends, and this ties in nicely with this month’s question for ‘You Gave Me The Answer’.
The question comes courtesy of John in the USA who asks:
“Not including music, what are your favourite pastimes, hobbies or interests?”
We caught up with Paul on the road to find out. He told us,“Thank you for your question John. When I’m not playing music I love spending time horse riding, and playing with my kids and grandkids.”
Paul is also an accomplished painter in his free time and fans can check out some of his work HERE!

For some reason, the image of 71-yr old Paul playing puzzles and games with his 4 grown children the way I do with my 4 young children just made me laugh

August’s question for ‘You Gave Me The Answer’ comes from Valeria who lives in Australia. She asks…
“What special piece of advice from your parents has stuck with you over the years?”
We spoke with Paul during his summer holidays to find out. He replied,
“Thank you for your question Valeria. Our Dad always used to say to us, ‘D.I.N.’, which stood for ‘Do It Now’. I’ve always tried to not take too long over things instead of putting them off.'”

Carnival Of Light not being out there isn’t down to Paul, it was George who vetoed its release around Anthology time and it wouldn’t surprise me if Olivia continues to respect George’s wishes. It may also be that Yoko doesn’t want it out as it might impact on John’s reputation as being the avant guard instigator of the band.
One question I have is that since we have a new Paul album in October does it mean that the next Archive release wont be until next year? If so we will all be dead and in need of being cryogenically frozen and brought back to life in 4309 to hear the complete series.

September question:
Let’s admit it, we’ve all had the superhero daydream and the superpower debate; If you were a superhero what would be your name and superpower?
This is what Jackie Kinkead from the USA probably had in mind when they sent in this month’s ‘You Gave Me The Answer’ question.
Jackie asks: “If you could have a superpower, what would it be?”
We were curious to find out ourselves and caught up with Paul whilst promoting his forthcoming coming album ‘NEW’…
Paul answered: “Thanks for your question Jackie. I’d be called ‘Peaceman’ and my superpower would be a zapper that I would use to END WAR!”
Paul has been a long-time fan of comic books writing the song ‘Magneto & Titanium Man’ based on two superhero characters which featured on the Wings album ‘Venus & Mars’. The song and artwork featured throughout Wings’ World Tour in 1975/76.

^^ I know. I felt the same way. We have a way better question bank built up for him.
Is it just me or does it seem like he’s just reaching to teens and under.

Oh, I hadn’t thought of that angle, but you might be right. If that is the case, why do it if you feel the need to patronize?
Guess I need to channel my 8-year-old Beatle fan and come up with a question.
