To the delight of his thousands of fans, the former Beatle Paul McCartney will return to our country to be in a single show on April 25 at the Estadio Nacional as part of his South American tour. This project is presented by the Time For Fun (T4F), which is the Brazilian international company that was installed this year in the country, and is confirmed that Paul McCartney will be here on April 25 and will be at the National Stadium with a capacity of about 35 thousand people. Tickets go on sale in a week, ” a reliable source from the company T4F told Perú21.
This tour will also pass through Ecuador, Uruguay, Chile, among other countries where he will promote his recent album, “New”, said the Uruguayan newssite UNoticias.

I know that was a different tour, but didn’t he do quite a few dates in S America last summer? Where was it he was attacked by all those crickets, or whatever they were? Seems strange he’s starting there again.

^^^ Yes he did, just give us European/American dates Paul ffs! I hope if he comes to Ireland that he doesn’t do concerts in the summer because high chances are I wouldn’t be able to go to them

Oh yeah, you’re away for the most part, aren’t you? He’ll probably do somewhere in the summer, you’ll just have to wait and see if he does Irish dates, and if so, when.

My only other options if he does a show in Frankfurt/Marseille or Vienna but I’d still have to travel 2+ hours on a train to strange cities that I haven’t been in before. May would be a great month (hint hint, wink wink) Or at the latest October

I have my all-important-must-study-every-night-and-have-no-social-life exams next year. Right after Christmas I’ll have mocks then orals in March-April and finally the big exams in June so I couldn’t really afford losing more then a night’s study and yes I do know how sad that sounds :/

Those aren’t bad options for traveling, though. :->

The one I’d hate to go the most to would be Vienna as I’m extremely far away from it. Frankfurt seems to be the easiest one to get to and I feel most comfortable in Germany that and I have perfected my “dont eff with me” look

Would your parents let you do that? My mom might do, if I went on and on, but I know she’d feel uncomfortable. Understandably; about as much as I would be.

I’d probably bring a friend/whoever I’m staying with, with me. If it’s Vienna I’ll be grand because Mam and Dad would be there but after days of begging, pleading and a mixture of real and crocodile tears I’d probably win them over My night out would probably consist of train-taxi-concert-taxi-train (and if I’m in Germany) another train but fingers crossed for Dublin.

Oh please let this be true!! My life will seriously never be complete if I dont experience a Paul McCartney concert!
He will probably never come to Norway, last time he was here was 10 years ago… Hopefully he’ll visit Sweden though, I can work with that.

If he comes to Boston again, I will have a hard time not going (mainly financially) since I saw him last summer and am seeing Ringo this summer, but damn it’d be hard to resist…

According to the paper, McCartney will play two shows between April 20 and April 23 in Santiago, Chile at the Movistar Arena and April 28 in Quito, Ecuador. This is in addition to the previously leaked April 18 show in Montevideo, Uruguay and April 25 in Lima, Peru at National Stadium.

Will there be a Paul 2014 world tour, or is that just a rumor? Is “Out There” considered the tour for the New album? Or will there be another one? I hope he comes back to our area so I can see him now that I’m a big fan.
I saw the out there tour and I’m not sure he played any songs from ‘New’, certainly not Queenie Eye (isn’t there another single off it – whatever, he didn’t play it). It certainly wasn’t a tour to promote the album. Compared to the 16.7.13 Jimmy Buffet show, which was a new album promotion tour and not being a serious parrothead I only knew 4 of the songs. Of course he was bound to disappoint 2 days after Paul, the best concert I’ve ever seen. I certainly hope I can afford to see him again (hated to do it but paid 320usd from a reseller, but would have been worth it at twice the price). Here’s the most excellent setlist, though I’m sure many of you have seen it already (14.7.13 Indianapolis):
Eight Days A Week (The Beatles son
Junior’s Farm (Wings song)
All My Loving (The Beatles song)
Listen to What the Man Said (Wings song)
Let Me Roll It (Wings song) (with “Foxy Lady” snippet)
Paperback Writer (The Beatles song)
My Valentine
Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five (Wings song)
The Long And Winding Road hi fu(The Beatles song)
Maybe I’m Amazed
I’ve Just Seen A Face (The Beatles song)
We Can Work It Out (The Beatles song)
Another Day
And I Love Her (The Beatles song)
Blackbird (The Beatles song) (acoustic)
Here Today (acoustic)
Your Mother Should Know (The Beatles song)
Lady Madonna (The Beatles song)
All Together Now (The Beatles song)
Lovely Rita (The Beatles song)
Mrs. Vandebilt (Wings song)
Eleanor Rigby (The Beatles song)
Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite! (The Beatles song)
Something (The Beatles song)
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da (The Beatles song)
Band On The Run (Wings song)
Back in the U.S.S.R. (The Beatles song)
Let It Be (The Beatles song)
Live And Let Die (Wings song)
Hey Jude (The Beatles song)
Encore:
Day Tripper (The Beatles song)
Hi, Hi, Hi (Wings song)
I Saw Her Standing There (The Beatles song)
Encore 2:
Yesterday (The Beatles song)
Helter Skelter (The Beatles song)
Golden Slumbers (The Beatles song)
Carry That Weight (The Beatles song)
The End

I’d do it in a heartbeat. I’ve driven more than 2 hours to see a concert before – to cities I’d never been to (of course in USA we drive a lot more than in Europe, I think, not having an adequate rail or bus system). I understand if you have anxiety issues (I do too) but take an alprazolam or some Valerian or something to relax you – you won’t be driving.
