Hey guys!
I hadn’t used Spotify for about two months, so I just noticed this… but the entirety of Wings Over America and first half of Back To The Egg have been removed from Spotify! Does anyone know the reason for this? It really sucks because I love those two albums. And the first half of Back To The Egg has some of the best songs from the album (including my favorite, Getting Closer).
Is it due to licensing issues? I use Spotify to access all my music, so it’s sad to see when something I love is gone.

Just checked – All of the tracks on Wings Over America are completely gone from my library and several tracks off Back To The Egg , including my favourite song on that album, To You, are missing!
There doesn’t seem to be any news articles or anything about this on Spotify or on Paul’s website, so I don’t know what’s going on, unfortunately.

I was looking at Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons the other day and a good chunk of his songs were removed as well.

Offline it’s a couple months later, but i thought i would chime in just incase people are curious if it is still gone; i don’t know if there are any region differences for spotify, but atleast here in canada, Back To The Egg is there in the entirety of the original release.
i guess i should set up a signature soon? maybe?

Offline I wonder if this is to garner interest for an upcoming ‘Archive’ release, probably won’t be until the end of the year at the earliest (if not later) but if it’s out there there’s obviously more chance of people buying a re-release. Having it nowhere is just stupid.
