I remember as a child hearing a very popular medley or mix of various McCartney tracks that was played often by all the local radio stations while living in the Midwest. The mix was a compilation of his popular songs and would change from one song to the next with that typical mix beat in the background. The mix was probably the length of an average song or perhaps a little longer such as 5 or 6 minutes? The approximate year of this mix I want to say was in the mid to late 1970’s? I wanted to know what this mix or medley was called? I haven’t found anything helpful from performing a Google search. Thanks for your help

I haven’t heard of this medley it sounds interesting but I think this thread would better fit in the Paul McCartney section as opposed to the forum rules and help guide thread which hopefully one of the mods could do.
If you're reading this, you are looking for something to do.

I don’t know about a McCartney medley from late 70s, but in 1981 we had the Stars On 45 Medley which had a disco beat and deejays with session singers imitating the Beatles for a medley that also included The Archies and “Venus.” The single went to #1 I think:
The extended album version:
"Life is good; life is wonderful, and with friends like these, who needs life?"
