It’s cool. As long as you like Paul’s eyebrows then we all are fab.I love Paul’s eyebrows, of course!
…Almost as much as I love George’s
Wonder what would it be like if their eyebrows combined.
They would go on and on across the unibrow.

I find Paul’s albums to be full of chaff… not that that takes away from my enjoyment of his music in the slightest.
Since it is, after all, MaccaMonth, I am going to try to listen to lots of Paul’s post-Beatles work. I gave RAM a first go yesterday.

I used to have the same opinion, but I’ve changed my mind after listening to the solo albums chronologically. I’m up to 1975. His songs are sometimes light and fluffy, but in comparison with the other Beatles they stand up better.
Ringo had his bad disco phase, John had his experimental noise phase, George had “dark hoarse” and Somewhere in England. All of which are worse than the worst Paul songs in my opinion.

Not true in every sense but I feel Paul generally looked to entertain and entice the audience in with his music, and therefore at times getting trapped between what he would like to to do and what he actually does. George and John more often recorded about how they felt, what they believed, where they were in their individual lives, and if they had anything to say. I don’t know what to say about Ringo, he just gets on with it and has fun whilst not varying too far from a certain formula now.
Again I know thats not always the case but I feel its the general overriding approach of them all.

I’ll admit, that’s pretty funny.
But also sad. Very sad.

Oh, that was funny, right there. Love the Onion. Even the style of the reporters is a parody–they continually talk over each other to compete for air time. And the female reporter is ridiculously beautiful and reports the most maudlin news with a bright happy smile.

That’s debatable…
I dreamt of ‘Maybe I’m Amazed ‘ this morning, so I’m listening to it now and Appreciating Paul.

Not sure where else to put this, but I recently ordered a couple more Paul McCartney DVDs. I’m getting close to finishing my collection. I bought Paul is Live in Concert and Live at the Cavern Club.

Paul McCartney is probably the most musically inclined out of all The Beatles, playing a wide variety of instruments on their songs and I think Paul is a better guitarist than John. Also, Expert Texpert, I recommend making sure you have DVD/VHS/BR/LD copies of A Hard Day’s Night , Help !, Magical Mystery Tour , Yellow Submarine , Let It Be , and Anthology before continuing your collection.

Fun little clip for you all, I was watching old school Coco episodes and stumbled upon this:
Enjoy!
Also confirmed: Paul stole ‘Maybe I’m Amazed ‘ from Buddy Holly.
