Offline Two of my three least favorite Paul albums, Driving Rain and Press To Play were just put in the spotlight by @Ahhh Girl and @meanmistermustard in two different threads this week when they posted absolute gems from both those albums that hadn’t quite stood out to me quite right when I first heard them in the context of the album. Just shows how prolific Paul’s career was. Even his most overlooked albums contain treasure troves of creativity. I really hope one day we can acess more of his archives to hear him fool around in the studio, and bring songs to their final form. He is an absolute master.

Offline I’ve got a problem with the thread title. Paul’s is the only appreciation thread without a cute title and I think he deserves one, he is the ‘cute Beatle’ after all.
John has ‘For those in the cheaper seats’
George has ‘This Is Love: The GH Club for Fiendish Thingies
Ringo has ‘Peace and Love: The Ringo Groove’
And poor Paul is left with just ‘The PM Appreciation Thread’. Can we come up with a cute moniker for the thread?

The only time there’s too many Paul fans is when they outweigh the George fans, and we’re quite successful at bringing people into the right camp
