I can’t see it hapenning as the casual fans (of either Nirvana or Paul) wouldn’t buy it IMO. So your target market is smaller than if it were a solo album, an you won’t make as much money from the number of sales.
I like the name, btw.

It would sell loads! Are you nuts? It would probably sell more than McCartney’s other recent albums, Krist Novoselic probably doesn’t shift too many albums nowadays, and Dave Grohl’s always happy to guest on other people’s records. I don’t see why sales would stop them doing what they wanted if it was fun to do. The only reason it wouldn’t work is if the material wasn’t up to scratch.
Bear in mind Paul’s last album was a set of cover versions, and before that he released a ballet score and yet another live album. I hardly think an album of storming rock songs would be considered a step too far.
Can buy me love! Please consider supporting the Beatles Bible on Amazon

Do you think? I could only see real fans buying it, personally (as in, not just the casual listeners). I don’t know if I would get it, and I consider myself to be a big fan of his.

I’m pretty much with you on this. They could get an album of stuff like CMSS pretty quick too.

Noooo! I think it would do really well. People would probably get very interested if they knew it was Paul and almost all of Nirvana.

WTF? I just saw a “Polo Red” fragrance commercial…. the song was “Cut Me Some Slack”…
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"
