Yeah Silly Girl, no doubt that’s the main answer. Paul seems intent on showmanship when he’s live — putting on a good show and entertaining. When he’s in studio he’s more keyed into getting it just right. I recall seeing him live way back in the Wings days, and I had already been a real fan of his recordings, and I remember feeling disappointed sometimes when he didn’t do it exactly like the record but actually did it — in my view — inferior. But now I get it — if he got it perfect on recording, why not be looser live, just for fun & experimentation?
I used to be disappointed by that too, until I tried it.

Paul, several of us have dreamed up a concert tour for you where you would play in smaller venues and perform only songs from your solo albums. Would you like some help putting together the set list for the concerts?
You would. OK. Your fans here on the Beatles Bible forum would be glad to assist you. I’ll go first. The others can chime when they get a chance.
From Chaos and Creation: English Tea, Follow Me, and This Never Happened Before
From Electric Arguments: Sing the Changes, Life Long Passion, Is This Love?
From Driving Rain : Your Way, Heather, Your Loving Flame
From Off The Ground : Off The Ground , Winedark Open Sea, C’mon People
From Flowers In The Dirt : My Brave Face, This One, Put It There
From Press To Play : Press, Stranglehold, Move Over Busker
From Tug Of War : Tug Of War , Take It Away, Wanderlust
From Ram : Smile Away , Monkberry Moon Delight , The Back Seat Of My Car
From Flaming Pie : Calico Skies, Beautiful Night, The Songs We Were Singing
From McCartney: Junk (not the singalong version), Lovely Linda, Teddy Boy (I can’t ask for Kreen-Akroe because I couldn’t be in public when you do that middle “breathing” part)I’m sure Abe, Rusty, Wix, and Brian would back you up.
Now that New is out, I will add: Early Days , Road, Turned Out (though I have several runners up on this album. so hard to choose.)
Don’t you think this would be a good Pure McCartney-type release????
Another question: What are your thoughts on the changes in race relations in the United States since from the time you toured here with The Beatles in the 1960s and now?

I think he’d ask you to move on to the next question.

Doesn’t seem to be on public record . . . It seems as though I’ve wasted an opportunity to ask a great question – but music business if of great interest to me

The percentage of royalties won’t be available publicly as neither party has any obligation or reason to release it to the press or make it known.

I’d ask him how much he laughed when he did the song with Kanye West and Rihanna (4,5 seconds),only to discover comments online from Kanye West fans like ‘Don’t know who this Paul McCartney guy is,but Kanye has sure helped his career by letting him play on that song’.
I still find it hard to believe that there were people out there who didn’t know who McCartney was

Did you hear about that incident that happened about a year ago when Paul and Beck were trying to get into the after-awards party of some black rapper (of whose name & fame I am proudly oblivious) and the bodyguards turned them away? Paul and Beck took it well, joking about it afterwards.

Ah yes,I remember that @Pineapple Records. Funny stuff
Here’s a passage from a book I’m reading at the moment (Fab: an intimate life of Paul McCartney ):
With his band mates away,Paul decided to take a continental holiday, disguised as a nobody. Jane (Asher) was busy with her stage work,so Paul took off on his own, heading to France where, looking not unlike the mustachioed Alfred Jarry,he motored off into the countryside, shooting an extended home movie as he went.
After a few days Paul reached Bordeaux, where he visited a discotheque in disguise only to be refused admission, something he had never previously experienced. “So I thought, sod this,I might as well go back to the hotel and come back as him!” Paul later told Barry Miles. “So I came back as a normal Beatle, and was welcomed with open arms”
