Germans are more Beatle-mad than the Irish I tell ya! We’re about as enthusiastic as a wet sponge over here as regards Paul. A lot of people don’t like him round these here parts.

Ah, ’tis a pity. Whyever not?
So what about you? You’re Beatle-mad. Or are you a loner among your kind, and therefore not to be taken as an example of the populace?

AAAAH HE’S COMING TO THE NETHERLANDS. I’M SO EXCITED.
But bloody hell, are those tickets expensive or what! 95 euros! I was actually really doubting whether I should go or not, since I have also bought tickets for Pinkpop and am going on holiday soon after that as well. But then my mom said ”Well, this might be the last time you can see him.” and I’ve been talking about how he is the one artist I really want to see and I’m willing to spend a bit more money for for years. But damn, that’s just f*****g expensive. My mom and brother are going to see Santana at the same venue, and that was ”only” 60 euros, so I was hoping it would cost as much as that. But no, of course not.

Good luck Linde! Ninety-five euro, Jesus Christ. Is that the lowest price? Somebody needs to tell Paul there’s a recession on!
Anyhoo I have a special ‘McCartney fund’ with around €120 in it, hopefully I can get decent tickets along with my transport to Dublin if he ever decides to turn left at England. I would fly to Liverpool and sleep somewhere cheap for the night if it wasn’t the week before my exams- DAMN YOU MCCARTNEY!!!

The Irish love begrudging people that are successful. Also a lot of people think he’s a money-hungry, stinge, arrogant man who shouldn’t be singing anymore because he’s too old. Their words, not mine
I actually hate The Beatles, I’m just lonely and want friends

Well if he was the only person in a room, I wouldn’t go to another part of the building would I?

My mom said ”Damn, Macca is rich enough already. Does he really need to charge that much for a gig?” I can sort of see how the gig is more expensive than when some random Dutch band performs there, but it shouldn’t be that expensive. I’ve seen loads of moaning on twitter. But of course it will sell out in 3 minutes or something anyway.

Exactly, the higher the demand= the more you can charge and Paul’s financial managers damn well know it! (I bet he pays them minimum wage though ) I mean the man is rumoured to be worth at least $600 million, there is only so much money you need

Look on the bright side. You can grab some ziplocs, bag some genuine air from a Paul McCartney concert, and make back all your money and then some.

Seltaeb, the officially licensed Beatles seller of the 60’s sold empty cans of “Beatle Breath” so why bother going to the concert and being anywhere near Paul, just get selling. Charge €10 per can and if enough schmucks bite you can go the concert.

Just put my mom in front of the laptop this morning with instructions on how to order tickets, as I was off to uni. Told her it would be stressful and would sell out soon, and the poor thing got all nervous. Nevertheless, she did manage to order tickets, for quite good seats.
So I’m going to see Paul McCartney !
