I thought there was one show over the last couple of years that fell on Paul’s birthday but my memory blows on things such as these.
I thought so too. Bonnaroo 2013 was just before his birthday, and I think it was mentioned during the show.

He played Helsinki 1 day prior in 2004, thats the closest i can see.
Looking thru the dates i just realised Paul played Glasgow two days after his 68th birthday. I dont remember anyone marking it but then the World Cup was on – i think Brazil played that day.
And its interesting that the one gig (outside of the Beatles at least) was in Tuscon, Arizona (“Jojo left his home in Tucson, Arizona”). All these little co-incidences.

Brazil played the Ivory Coast and won 3 – 1 (thanks wiki). I remember looking at the fixtures at the time and trying to work out how i could see Paul and watch Brazil play. The tickets said the gates opened at around 4pm so i was hoping at one point that Paul would start at 5pm, finish by 8pm and i could be in the pub by 8:25pm.

In a way, I’d think it woukd be fun to go, but I think I should be kind and let UK-based people go. They have been waiting a long time.

If you’re there at the same time, you should definitely go. How often do you get the experience of seeing Paul in Liverpool?

Doesnt Paul have the tendency to release a handful of dates and then keep adding more? Maybe his body cant handle the thought of 30 shows but broken down into smaller mini-tours that overlap each other is fine.

I wont go to England to see him so i wont be going for tickets. They won’t let you rebel types cross the border any more??
I’m going in a sulk. If he wont come here then i wont go there. Why should I have to make the effort to see him? Its not like he calls or sends me flowers in the post.

If it makes you feel better, one of my friends is thinking of flying over for the show because it’s one of her dreams to see Paul in Liverpool.

I hope he does more dates, the fact that he hasn’t set a date for Germany is strange, cause they’re all Beatles-mad there!
I was under the impression that they’re all Beatles-mad everywhere.
