That would be entirely too cool, parlance. I hope he does play that just for you!
Hee, thanks! I’ve been corrected at Paul’s board that he just meant he’ll be playing a longer show than The Beatles, lol. That said, if there are special guests, the show probably will be longer than usual. And here’s still hoping he finds time to squeeze in my NEW favorite.

If his show lasts 31 minutes, it will be longer than a Beatles concert. The Albany show was just under 3 hours, but that included “the proposal”. Honestly, after getting so much rest during his recovery from the virus, he looked so full of energy. It would not surprise me at all if he exceeded three hours.

Nah, I have to go right back to work. I’ll be hurting a bit. But it is, of course, all worth it!

Examiner report of how at a recent concert a fan got Paul to sign the sleeve of his vinyl copy of ‘New’ (as is now mandatory on my part i detest that album title).

My childhood friend I’d known since 4th grade but hadn’t seen in 20 years offered to letter my poster for tonight after I’d asked on Facebook for a volunteer. It’s especially amazing because she lives a bit far from me. I told her I didn’t want to put her out. And she said, “I was happy to do it for you. You’ve been a Beatle fan for almost 35 years!” *sniff*
Getting even more excited! I’ll die if Paul reads it. Even if he doesn’t, I’ll cherish it anyway, because it’ll always remind me of my friend’s kindness.

Pointless saying it as you will, no question, but enjoy every last millimetre of Paul and the band @parlance and don’t forget to let us know how it all was so we unfortunate, deeply-envious-but-very-happy-for-you fans can get an idea of how good it was and live thru you. Its all we have.

Oh, you know I will. Probably won’t be as long as that first report (the crowd rejoices) but I’ll definitely share. And as always, I’ll try to post a few pics realtime at my instagram.

Back from another amazing Paul show! No surprises or special guests (setlist a friend of mine got here). But the crowd was pumped and Paul fed off that and it seemed like a flawless performance. He seemed more smiley and even a little goofier than usual, making more funny faces when he screamed and dancing a bit more. And the night it was made all the more magical because of the supermoon, which Paul referenced a few times. At one point, we even got a shooting star passing right by the moon.
As promised, I got pics up at Instagram: 1 2 3 4. And my friend let me borrow her point and shoot, so I got pics – mostly of the Jumobtron – that I’ll share sometime this week after I get through a pile of photos to edit for work. But here’s a taste. The nice thing about Paul not straying too far from script is that I was able to anticipate certain moments and capture them this time around.
The fans who were picked to go up on stage this time were a mother-daughter team. The daughter had already been signed and she wanted her mother’s one and only tattoo to be Paul’s.
As for my own sign, unfortunately, our seats were too far over for the sign to be seen. But I held it up anyway, and people in my section were adorable – they loved the sign and encouraged me to hold it up. One woman even said she wished I had been the one picked to go on stage! And since I have a story to go along with it with my friend hand-delivering it to me, I’m definitely holding on to it.
In general we had a great little group in our section. They were excited and genuinely awestruck, some even knew the NEW songs (one woman high-fived me for my dancing during “Queenie Eye ,” lol), and one little girl standing on the seat next to me knew the lyrics to almost every song. Also, the woman at the end of our row told us that she’d seen The Beatles there in ’66. And the tall people in front of me eventually shifted out of my sightline.
After the concert, on our way to the taxi line, I think my friends and I spotted Paul’s car leave, if the police escort is any indication.
I feel so fortunate to have seen both Ringo and Paul – in less than a month at that. I wouldn’t have missed the chance to see Paul in this a historic venue in time for the 50th anniversaries.
I’ll edit if I think of more.

Positive review of the concert at Variety. But I think he’s getting Blackbird mixed up with Let It Be .

More reports as I find them:
* Another positive review at LA Times. I agree that I wish Paul would bring in a string quartet for Yesterday (some might remember he borrowed the Kronos Quartet at Outside Lands).
* Local CBS station report. Similar report at related station KCAL 9’s YouTube channel. Not sure where the “playing with a member of Wings” part came from.
* A giddy review at OnStage Magazine.

How can someone keep posting 30 second vids online that make you wish you could travel half-way around the world just to see them play every single damn concert? You’d think the yearning would pass as you got used to then but nope, up pops another video and off you want to go.

I’m grateful I got to see him again, but I’m still jealous of everyone who gets to see him tomorrow.

Me, too! The video and every other clip I see make me realize I must see him in concert again ASAP.
