That is the link I used this morning to no avail.
BUT, GUESS WHAT I JUST FOUND OUT!?!? We have a American Express card in the family! I can go for tickets during the Am Ex presale on Monday.

Dallas is not selling yet…this morning at 10 am the McCartney presale site just went haywire, not letting us select or buy tickets. It goes on sale at Ticketmaster on 4/25 with a presale the day before.
With an American Express gold card you can buy on 4/21.

Do you know if it has to be a gold card? I looked at the Am Ex site, and it said all of their cards will do the ticket thingy, even their prepaid cards work.

Oh, I don’t know–I read on “ehow” that it needed to be a gold card, but on another site someone was just saying “american express card.” I think the presale code is usually the number on the card.
I just got off the phone with an Am Ex rep. The gold card gets you preferred seating of some sort, but the card I have access to is good for the presale. A Ticketmaster rep told me earlier today, that on the 21st anyone will be able to look at the tickets for sale, but the tickets can only be purchased with an Am Ex card. I have been a busy little beaver finding out all this information for us today.

Good deal! I guess having access to presale # 2 of 3 isn’t bad. Crazy that they have 3 presales, and that we have to wait another four days.
And, if the Am Ex one screws up on me, hopefully Mr. Kite will come through with a code for try number 3.

Paul made a last-minute change to the Montevideo setlist at a fan’s request.
Think if I get front row and keep yelling “Appreciate” loud enough, it’ll work? ;->

Is this the first time Pauls done One After 909 since the Rooftop?

I doubt there will be any major shake-ups. What do you remove? The majority of the audience is there for the Beatles numbers and can’t see one of those being dropped for a new Paul song, you have the tributes to John and George & Nancy’s song which won’t be taken out and a nod to Wings. Doent any switching about tend to be altering one track with another from the same era so unless Paul alternates the New tracks with others then this is probably it.
A lot of the big Paul fans (so not the Beatles + Biggest Solo Hits ones) would love to see the whole set list torn up and reinvigorated but its not going to happen on these tours.

Why did he ever take Jet out? That song rocked live. Wish he’d do more of those rockers and less of the piano ballads, which can be kinda boring.
He could have a little bit of variance though. 1985 (while a fantastic song) is expendable for another Wings song. Stuff like We Can Work It Out , Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite !, Lovely Rita , And I Love Her , Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da could all be switched out for other Beatles stuff. Just saying.
I sound like I’m complaining which I guess I am a little, but honestly he could do nothing but Beatles piano ballads and I’d be happy. It’s freakin’ Paul McCartney .

I totally agree but thats swapping Beatles for Beatles, i’d say drop some Beatles for solo but its not going to happen. I’m not entirely convinced Eight Days A Week is a great opener.
I saw Paul in 2010 and truth be told i’m not that fussed about seeing him again as most of the songs are the same, certainly not for £80 or whatever it would be.

Looks like he didn’t sing “Mrs. Vanderbilt” like he did in Memphis last year. That song, along with Paperback Writer earlier in the evening, are the two songs that grabbed me the most that night.

I think he kind of changes things up from Latin America, so I wouldn’t necessarily expect the exact same setlist.

If I had already seen him I wouldn’t have tried for this, especially with the fact that some great concerts are coming that I’d also want tickets to (Jack White, Boston/Cheap Trick). But I haven’t so, I’m super excited. Oh, and I missed that he did Save Us, New, and Queenie Eye . Those should be great live.
Wait , I’m going to try and put together my ideal (realistic, with all the ones he’ll always have (Hey Jude , Something , Live And Let Die , etc.)) setlist. Same amount of songs, just with some of the expendable ones replaced with ones I’d rather see. A lot of old ones being brought back that he’s done previously.

More rumored tour dates posted at maccaboard:
July 9 – Chicago, IL – United Center
July 12 – Fargo, ND – Fargodome
August 10 – Los Angeles, CA – Dodgers Stadium
August 12 – Santa Clara, CA – Levi Stadium
August 14 – Phoenix, AZ – Jobing.com Arena
If true, that settles the Candlestick vs. 49’ers debate.
That LA date would be almost a year to the date of seeing Paul for the first time at Outside Lands.

- “Blackbird “
- “Here Today “
- “Penny Lane ” (how great this would be…)
- “NEW,”
- “Queenie Eye ,”
- “Turned Out” (triple play of NEW songs, I love Turned Out and I think it could translate fantastically to live)
- “House Of Wax” (I can dream)
- “Lovely Rita ,”
- “Flaming Pie ”
- “Eleanor Rigby ”
- “Hey Bulldog ” (little more rocking of a John tribute)
- “Something ,”
- “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da ,”

OK, I kept it semi-realistic. Maybe there’s a little too many deep cuts there, but wouldn’t this show just be fantastic? And it’d still be interesting.
Paul! If you’re reading this, play this set in Pittsburgh! (or at the very least, could you put House Of Wax in?)
