At least the Fox would be shot instead of tortured. Will they use the foxes remains?

@Ahhh Girl, since the fox hunting ban was introduced, hunts have continued to go out, but the hounds chase down a scent laid by cross country runners – so they still get the ride, but not the kill at the end. Well, mostly, sometimes the cross country runner is ripped apart by the dogs when he or she is caught. It’s usually accidental though.
I think I’ve stumbled across a long-lost Python sketch.
Thanks Mr. N!

Would you want a fur coat or scarf thats been ripped apart by a dog first?
Tho why anyone would want to wear a dead animal around their next as a piece of fashion is beyond me.

The same reason people poke holes in their earlobes (and other places) and fill the wound with jewelry

Jewelry isn’t (normally) the remains of a dead animal thats been slaughtered.
And no doubt someone is thinking i’m a hypocrite as I had a piece of meat for my dinner along with potatoes and veg. Tasty it was too.

It’s better to use the dead animal then just waste it or else killing that animal would just be pointless.

Personally i’d rather they didnt kill the animal for clothing in the first place.
They could kill it for food and clothing are a by product since people only wear the skins of the animal.

I wouldn’t want a fur coat or scarf full stop.
Neither would I. I’d feel awful wearing a damn animal as a coat.

@Joe, what are your thoughts on this?
BBC Music Protection: Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Sam Smith & Other Big UK Stars Join Campaign
A paragraph from the article.
Some of the biggest names in the music industry in U.K. gathered together to fight for BBC music to be shielded from cuts. The likes of Sir Paul McCartney , Coldplay, Rita Ora, Sam Smith and more join the #LetItBeeb campaign to support the music corporation.

Meatless Monday drive in Mexico
By Chloe Ryan, 08-Oct-2015
I like their campaign picture.
Sabina Garcia, farm animal project and corporate outreach manager for HSI in Mexico, said:
“We invite consumers in the country to join the movement and create a healthier and more humane planet. Other celebrities, including Paul McCartney , Enrique Bunbury and Bruno Bichir support the Meatless Monday campaign, as do hundreds of schools, restaurants, governments and hospitals from around the globe. We look forward to working with institutions in Mexico to increase this movement.”

I’m glad to hear it. I like the BBC 🙂
Having said that, their pop music coverage on TV has been in a steady decline since they axed Top Of The Pops (which was necessary at the time, but nothing’s filled the void). They have Later with Jools Holland, Glastonbury, T In The Park, Radio One Big Weekend… and that’s about it. Some documentaries and clip shows on BBC Four plunder the BBC archives for interesting performances from yesteryear, but it’s always clear that they have very little from the past 15 years. It’s such a shame, because there has been a lot of musical movements and important acts which have emerged (and often disappeared again) during that time, and there’s virtually no record of them in the archives.
Tony Hall, the director general, has an arts background so might be the one to get more music on TV, but I’m not sure. The BBC’s music radio is excellent though, especially 6 Music, which the last DG tried to axe.
I’ve avoided the political side of this, but the current government hates the BBC and would love to cut its funding and services, leaving it up to commercial radio and TV (ITV, Murdoch) to fill the gap. So it’s heartening that some popular performers are standing up for the corporation. The government hates the NHS too, because they only see expense and commercial opportunity rather than society, culture and value. I hate the Conservatives.

That gap is quite unfortumate. I’m glad the BBC didn’t miss out on The Beatles!
