Spin Magazine weighs in:For anyone who has sat through an interview with Paul McCartney ever, Collins’ anecdote about the former Beatle should seem both outrageous and 100% believable…
…If you’ve seen that scene in the Let It Be movie where the rest of the band and Billy Preston are happily jamming, and then Paul walks in and they all stop and look sad, you may be inclined to stand with Phil on this one.
Stand with him on what? Holding a grudge on something that if asked about Paul wouldn’t remember and almost certainly would apologise for immediately.
Ok it happened but forgive and get on with your life instead of holding onto something for so long.

I stand with Phil. I think we need to start a petition or something.
I suggest a boycott on buying Paul’s archive releases. Send him a letter with no stamp telling him. Get him mad by making him pay the postage.

Hell! He’d hardly notice as he’s virtually boycotting releasing the archive releases, so slow is the trickle, and then he’s making them so much less than they could be.

Maybe we call tell Phil that there is something to be pissed about with Paul.
14 months+ wait for a remaster with 4 extra demos that reveal nothing.

I don’t understand your gif selection, mmm. Is that how you were feeling when you wrote that post? I just don’t understand because your post seemed a bit annoyed, but that guy in the gif appears to be celebrating. ????????????? Where do you find all these gifs that you use anyways? Do you type in on Google Images “happy george harrison gif aesthetic” for example?

I read it as a sarcastic response; classic mrmustard.

He’s also posted about this somewhere or other, so I’ll save him having to type it out again. I’m pretty sure that, like most of us, he just Googles ‘x emotion gif’ and picks one that seems suitable.

Thanks, mmm. I only have a faint grasp on the concept of irony, but I think I understand. I also appreciate you using Merriam as a reference.
Almost all of those definitions describe sarcasm as “language” or “words”, so can it still be considered sarcasm if you are not conveying it through words? The same goes for irony, too, so can it still be ironic if it is not conveyed through words?

Wait but I want to understand better the language English. ):
I’m with you and Phil, though, Expert Texpert. I think little Philly has every right to be upset about whatever he wants to be upset about.

We all have the right to feel how we do, it’s the pointlessness of holding onto something 14 years ago that could be worked out with a 5 minute phone call that i dont understand or agree with.
Move on with your life.
I think ET is being sarcastic, apologies if not.

Looks like Paul did the mature thing and reached out to Phil. Phil, in turn, just used that to make a bigger idiot of himself.
