This was released as the B-side to Temporary Secretary as a 12″ and originally is about 10 minutes long. According to Wikipedia there’s a rare 7″ demo, which may be the source of the edit version later found on the McCartney II reissue. IMHO it’s the unsung hero, no less interesting than the A-side, and I prefer the original to the edit, which I certainly cannot say about many of the other unedited tracks! It starts with a sequencer loop like Temporary Secretary but is played like a chord, and is backed by a samba-like bass and percussion. “Here we are, where are we” is yet another McCartney family saying crow-barred into a lyric and the vocals are a bit spooky and treated.
I'm like Necko only I'm a bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin and also everyone. Or is everyone me? Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.
