Yes it is very funny. There are so many reasons why people should know who Paul is:

In fairness to humanity, I think most of them are internet trolls hoping to provoke exactly this reaction.
Exactly, a couple of them were Beatles fans. Kind of annoying that most journalists didn’t bother to check their feeds and figure out that basic fact before reporting on them.

Kayne West’s handwritten lyrics to Only One
From the article
Kanye West has never been one to shy away from collaborating with unlikely pop icons. From his Daft Punk-sampling his “Stronger” to his work with Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, it was hard to predict who he was going to write with next. With a follow-up to Yeezus slotted for release sometime in 2015, the prolific rapper’s shocked the world yet again by releasing a track, “Only One,” with former Beatle Paul McCartney , who plays a slightly-modified organ underneath Kanye’s verses. Or, should we say, Kanye’s late mother Donda West’s verses to daughter North West (Nori).
Stated Kanye via “Only One” press release, “My mom was singing to me, and through me to my daughter.” West and McCartney held an impromptu jam together in an LA studio sometime last year, and both artists simply improvised their parts and recorded them: one with his voice, and one on the keys.
When it comes to the song’s lyrics, if you read them through the mind of Donda West, Nori’s late grandmother, they’re tear-worthy. Tell Nori about me, Kanye’s mother’s words beg near the end of the touching ode to her granddaughter.”

Any chance we could make the title and URL of this thread more general for the Kanye collaborations? There’s a new one with Kanye and Rhianna. I’ll post at the collaborations thread in the meantime.

Let’s keep this thread separate for Only One for now. I might broaden it out depending on what else gets released in the near future, but thanks for posting the Rihanna stuff etc in the collaborations thread.

Kanye is “currently working on a video game about his mother travelling through the gates of heaven” which will feature his collaboration with Paul (‘Only One’), Latino’s Health reports.
The video game dedicated to his beloved mother Donda West may be the most unexpected among the rapper’s many creative projects. West showed a short dreamy video from the game that showed his mother flying through clouds and travelling on the back of what appeared to be a white Pegasus.
Rolling Stones added that West had a difficult time trying to convince the concept to game developers in San Francisco. “That’s not easy to do, man,” he said after he feeling that fans hadn’t reacted appropriately, report Rolling Stone. “Y’all be acting like that sh*t is regular…
“Only One”, the name of the video game, was a song West collaborated with Paul McCartney . An interview with Paul said that he did approach the collaboration with nervousness, at first, reports Noisey.
However, he admitted that West has an amazing talent and he has a lot of respect for him.
Isn’t there a Paul video that has Pegasus in it? ‘This One’ maybe?
Edit: There is a book on everything. An extract from ‘Mullet Madness!: The Haircut That’s Business Up Front and a Party in the Back‘ by Alan Henderson:
I’m off topic.
