Love it, love it, love it!

Can’t wait for the whole album, this song is amazing and hopefully the rest of the album will be just as great.
The song sounds really fresh and pretty Beatle-y :)

Someone remixed it to put the coda at the beginning. It also works well.

Love this song. a-hard-days-night-paul-5

It sounds as though it would have fit on Flaming Pie and reminds me of ‘Young Boy’. It would have been a great 14th track on that album. george-martin

He has a wonderful way of crafting lines that keep drawing you into the next lines, as in ‘I’ve Just Seen A Face ‘.

The cover art is awesome as well. I kept looking at it and finally saw NEW. Sometimes it just takes me longer.a-hard-days-night-paul-10

To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

^I agree, what struck me, as always, is how effortless Paul makes it all seem. Genius. Haven’t been able to stop humming this song for DAYS!

I don’t want to rain on the parade … but I’m really underwhelmed by this song. It sounds like a tired pastiche of late period Beatles. The production is sterile and his voice sounds so fragile. For a 71 year old man, it’s pretty good. But really this is ‘Paul by numbers’.

The Examiner did an interview with the guy who posted the cover that Brian Ray praised.

The only thing that, after a few listens, has started to annoy me a bit is how much he says the line “don’t Look At Me “. Apart from that, it just seems to get better and better.

Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.

Agreed about the “don’t Look At Me ” line repetition issue. It’s like the Memory Almost Full ” album is EXCELLENT except for that “very very very very very hard” line in that one song. Other than that I love it…

The song is good, sounds alot like a Wings song. I pre-ordered the album on I-tunes so I hope the other album tracks are great.

And if you saw my love, I'll love her to.

My experience with post-Venus And Mars McCartney albums has been, alas, consistent:  Every one of them only has one, at best two, really good songs that rise above being nominally good to being truly inspired (e.g., on Tug Of War , they were “Ballroom Dancing” and “Take It Away”; on Memory Almost Full , they were “That Was Me” and “Dance Tonight”; and so forth).  I have long ago learned not to expect anything more.

I must admit I stopped buying after Venus And Mars , though I did have a soft spot for London Town .

Having said that; I have been buying a few later albums in the last few weeks and listening with a fresh ear and the passing of time; maybe I am just getting old (well, I know I am) – but I’m liking them more now than I did back in the day – so I have a lot of hope for the new album.

Loving this song more with each listen.  I have high hopes for the album as well.  Best since Flowers In The Dirt or Flaming Pie ?  We shall see.

On a random note, Facebook hasn’t yet updated Paul’s Spotfiy thumbnail to reflect his most recent photo, so it’s still coming up as the picture of Paul in the loose blue shirt that makes him look like an intern at an emergency room and it makes me chuckle every time.

Just heard the song on KCSN in LA. Nice to hear the song on the radio outside the context of a Beatles show.
