Offline I remember this song / Kisses On The Bottom being released while I was a teenage fan girl on Tumblr. What a time. (Now I’m an adult fan girl, not on Tumblr but still on this forum!)
I love that Paul wrote the vocal part to suit his older voice. The song is somehow both melancholic and hopeful. Imagine writing a love song this good, and it’s probably only just in the top 5 love songs you have personally written. I’m preaching to the choir, but what an incredibly talented bloke.
