I’m quite usually a fan of Macca’s instrumentals, but the first time I listened to this it threw me off and I wasn’t that into it, mainly due to the heavy breathing that comes in from the left channel before becoming a prominent part of the piece, but now I’m kinda into it? Before I used to just end my listening of McCartney after “Maybe I’m Amazed ,” but I now stick to it and listen to “Kreen-Akrore” all the way through (and then continue listening into “Suicide” if I’m listening to the deluxe, remastered edition.) It’s not my favorite, but I can now appreciate it for what it is and actually find it to be a justifiable and okay end to the McCartney album despite its…. moments (but I now adore when Paul gets weird).
I’m kinda surprised I haven’t seen it being talked about before.
Anyways, how do the rest of you guys feel about this track?

I’m a fan of Paul’s simplified drum style for the album, however an extended drum solo outro with the breathing on top feels unnecessary

It puts me in a “mood” I have to listen to it when I’m by myself. Paul…heavy breathing… I better stop now before I need to take this to the Fifty Shades thread. Ouch. Oh. Um. **sigh**
