‘I Am Your Singer’ is the sixth song on Wings’s debut album Wild Life. See more…
‘Some People Never Know’ was just me and Linda’s love song, us against the world. ‘I Am Your Singer’ is similar.

“Jeanne Dolmetsch, Brian Blood, Peter Blood, Christine Blood, Paul Blood: recorder”
WHAT…??? For the past 40 years I’ve assumed it was Paul and Linda playing the recorders…!!! I need confirmation of this before I fall into a deep despondent funk of crushed dreams…
P.S.: And who the bloody heck are all those “Bloods”…? I never heard of them, and along with “Jeanne Dolmetsch” (whom I’ve never heard of either) it implies there are 5 recorders!!! There seem to be only 2 recorders, not 5.

Coming back to this very late (better late than never, right?). There’s a comment by Brian Blood on the article page:
Hi, can I correct the information about the Dolmetsch-Blood families who worked with Paul on several of his projects? On ‘I am your singer’ the players are Jeanne Dolmetsch, sister-in-law to Brian Blood (who was married to Jeanne’s twin sister Marguerite), Brian’s brothers (Peter and Paul Blood) and Brian’s sister (Christine Blood). Jeanne and Marguerite were the twin-daughters of Carl Dolmetsch, and the granddaughters of Arnold Dolmetsch.
I asked for some clarification but he never replied. It’s worded slightly ambiguously and I’m not sure if Brian was on the recording. In which case it would mean there were four recorder players, not five.
