I had a half-written feature on this so decided to finish it off and publish it. No other particular reason, but I might chip away at some more McCartney songs in the coming months.

The ‘Hi George…’ Mel Blanc section of this circulates in a nicely edited portion which allows you to hear the parts Paul uses outside of the song and it’s great fun to hear. The full cartoon is online.
As for the track itself, it’s a decent enough listen but not one to go back to or seek out.

I’m 99.99% sure there isn’t a thread for this song so I thought I would make one. I also found this song today.
This is the second song I’ve ever heard from Paul’s solo music. Someone in the comments of 19/2000 by Gorillaz said “If you this you’ll like Check My Machine by Paul McCartney ” so of course I checked it out. This is a damn good song.
