Score one for Chez: From the 16th, Billy Joel helping out. And yes I’ll have a great time. Penny, why don’t you leave a review on Joe’'s article?

Have fun both of y'all. I wish Macca would perform somewhere near me, but everywhere he performs is a bit too far away for us to drive. So a plea to Paul if he just happens to be reading this, which I sincerely doubt he is, but it doesn't hurt to try.
PLEASE PLEASE PERFORM IN NASHVILLE!!!!!!

Okay, I'm back. I would have typed this last night, but I only got back to Ottawa at after 2 o'clock in the morning. Paul was AWESOME. First, on the drive to Montreal (two hours away), we listened to Good Evening NYC. After that, we rode into Montreal, ate at my family's favourite restaurant ever, and then killed time in HMV (it's a record store). Then, of course, was the concert. He didn't start until 8:35 (much to my mothers dismay, it seems). When he finally got up here, it was like heaven. Paul stared with Hello Goodbye , and at one point we actually droned Paul out. He did Birthday for Mick Jagger (68 as of yesterday), and he just kept playing. 38 songs, 5 arms signed and countless memories. I got a couple of videos (a cop actuaslly came up and told me I wasn't allowed at one point, even though everyone was). I'm going to check them to see if I have anything good.
A highlight? Hello Goodbye. Just seeing everyone, French and English, singing together. Beautiful. The video link should give sense of it. After he left for the first time, the crowd suddenly, loudly, and proudly broke into that crazy Oleh Oleh thing. That's Montreal for you. The crowd was so loud, raucous, awesome. I am in heaven. I'm awestruck. as was my mom, my companion on the trip. (My seats were really high up, but I'm still elated). And a note to people wanting a T-shirt from the concert. Wait until it's over. There will be people selling them for $20, whereas Paul is selling for $40. I almost bought one, but I have one from last year. I need to get some food. That's it. (And I'll copy parts of this as a comment on Joe's article when he writes it).

Wow I'm so jealous! Well not really. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself SunKing. And I have to say that red jacket is a big improvement over the blue one he wore in the South America's leg of his tour.
BTW Did he include any new songs in his playlist?

I think it’s because he’s in Canada that he wore the red. I like to think so at least.

Wow that's a set list a bit different.
I have some friends who complain about Paul not changing his setlist more. I dunno… this one doens't look like the concert I went last year..

Here's Yesterday from last night. It's not great, but it was my best video. I'll try another.

That's an interesting vantage point you had. I noticed some really cool reflections on the piano.
There were also a few cameramen milling about. Could there be another concert video in the future? Did anyone else who saw this tour so far notice all the cameras as well?

The video projections are usually done from behind the screen.
I'm talking about the mobile camera on tracks in front of the stage and the various hand-helds on the sides. Unless you meant to say what they were filming was being projected on to the screens.
