Yes but we should pay for what artists release, they have a right for us to pay for what we want of theirs. If you do work then you want paid for it.
I’m all in favour of bootlegs and downloading what we cant get legally but i wouldnt condone it for things such as this*.
*Exceptions apply when and where i feel its appropriate like when getting ripped off. Its complicated and im a hypocrite.

Offline All have been original mixes, even the upcoming ‘Pipes Of Peace ‘. Not sure what Paul can do to ‘Ebony And Ivory ‘ to make it not sound dated, it was dated before it first came out.

Offline The remastered single edit of ‘Take It Away’ is available to download for free from Paul’s official website, it will not be included on the reissue set coming out on October 2nd. If the reissue of ‘Venus And Mars ‘ is anything to go by there will be a few of these coming.

Offline Yes they are but the single edit of ‘Take It Away’ (and maybe one or two more) is not included on the ‘Tug Of War ‘ album.

Offline I actually have to hand it to paul,i don’t think he has exploited his fans too much in the past. I can’t think of him having a huge amounts of compilations and reissues to his name. The recent batch of reissues look like they have had a lot of care taken in presentation and sound and will be worth it for fans if they wish to invest.

Offline No doubt there has been great care in the sound and presentation but it would have been good if the material Paul selected as bonus tracks were more intriguing and the releases were more comprehensive in including all the official releases that went with them. One look at the ongoing Voodoo Records Ultimate Archive Collection releases shows how much is missing.

Additionally if you buy at Best Buy you get a special edition of a tote bag (they should just add $25 to the price or charge you $99 for a receipt as well).
No matter how much you remix ‘Ebony And Ivory ‘ it still sucks.

Offline I really like most of the album, its the Stevie Wonder collaborations that pull it down. Two of the worst Macca tracks.
