I’m looking for help from the Macca experts here before I give my views on this album in another thread.
Some sources say this is an album by Wings called Wild Life .
The spine of my CD has “Wings Wild Life / Wings” which suggests it is an album by Wings called Wings Wild Life .
So, which is it? I am leaning towards the second interpretation otherwise the 2nd Wings on the spine is redundant.

I’ve always considered it to be Wild Life . It certainly appeared that way in the original advertising, as you can see here:
The original album was also “stickered” in exactly the same way:

^ Interesting. To provide further evidence for the alternative interpretation – on the Wingspan CD the track Tomorrow is listed as being off Wings Wild Life (and we know who helped put that CD together).
[EDIT] With the evidence of that poster and sticker I’m now leaning towards an album by Wings called Wild Life

I’m holding the LP issued in 1971 in my hand right now. The cover has no words at all, just a full photograph of Paul, Linda, Denny Seiwell and Denny Laine out in what looks like a river shrouded in lush trees (Paul is standing knee-deep in the water, strumming a guitar, Linda and the Dennies are perched on a horizontal tree spanning a couple of feet above the water).
On the back it says in large print at the top and center:
Wings
Wild
Life
(with the second word indented, and the third word indented further — no quote marks, no punctuation).
Inside on the record proper, each side says “Wings Wild Life ” (again no punctuation).

^ Anything on the spine?
[EDIT] Just saw a scan of the cassette spine and it was just Wings Wild Life which adds further weight to it being an album by Wings called Wild Life . It looks like the later CD releases just added a superfluous ‘Wings’. So, I’m going with Ron’s opinion unless Paul comes in here and tells me otherwise

In the latest issue of Q (as reported by Examiner) Paul says that ‘Bip Bop’ is his worst ever song and the lyrics are “f*****g awful“.
Would be good if this means Paul has went thru all the ‘Wild Life ‘ material and a reissue is coming soon (ie before the year 3771 when the remasters are currently scheduled to be completed – i wonder if the ‘Archive’ series will be the first reissue project in history that will lap itself when we get the 100 year anniversary archive release of ‘Band On The Run ‘ before albums like ‘Give My Regards To Broad Street ‘ and ‘Off The Ground ‘).

Well, let’s see. I did enjoy it, though I found it a bit slight (after Dear Friend I went, ‘Oh, it’s over? Seriously?’ but then when I enjoy an album I never want it to end ). The first side I didn’t care for, apart from the title track (the jury is still out on that one ) but I really liked the songs on the second side, both those I’d heard before and those I’d not.
Side one: ‘Whuuut?’
Side two: ‘Ooh, “Some People Never Know”… ahhh, this is a nice one, I like it. Ooh, “I Am Your Singer”… ahhh, this is a nice one, I like it too. Hey, “Tomorrow” *headbops* Oh, “Dear Friend” *wipes tear away* Wait , what happened to the music?’

‘Bip Bop’ is garbage and I get why folk dislike ‘Mumbo’ which is just Paul screaming as the band plays along and many say ‘Love Is Strange’ is too long.
Its not that short an album; ‘McCartney’ is less and ‘Ram ‘ is only 4 minutes longer.

I know it’s not, each song in itself is quite long. But if you only like side 2 then it feels quite short. And, of course, this is the person who goes, ‘What? Done already?’ after Shine On You Crazy Diamond part 9. And Wish You Were Here is a pretty long album.
As posted elsewhere I’m crazy about ‘Some People Never Know’, in fact I’m listening now.

If you only like one song on an album its going to feel like its a short album. Really passes quickly if you never even listen to any tracks.
I like over* half the album, thank you very much.
*Well, I think I might possibly like the title track, so that’s more than half…

I wasn’t quoting your amount of liking songs on the album. I was being flippant in response to how you find the album to be short because you dislike over 13 minutes album, which is 1/3 in total. So

I rarely listen to albums all the way thru but went back to this and its brilliant. It is underperformed, underwritten, raw, ragged, indulgent and so much more that everyone throws at it but I’d take it over so many of Pauls other albums. Generally I find that I prefer Pauls odder albums, like McCartney II as well, over the more produced though-out albums.

Love Is Strange would be great with a little bit more gloss. Its one of my favorite hooks, riffs, or tunes but I feel like it could use a bit more structure.

Never really listened to that cover before now, interesting. Really like that groove! Group singalong bits are fun, but I really love imagining Paul and Linda originally rehearsing Mickey and Sylvia’s “How do you call your lover boy??” routine – it also would’ve been fun! That’d probably be demanding a lot from Linda, obviously,…she really sounds nice among the other singers.
