Suppose that could work. Would everyone mind if we voted just between two candidate songs instead?
I’ll go with this being day 2 then, Fiddy. I’ll admit it looks like A Love For You is going to win, but for this round only, I’m willing to allow another day for people to vote on the other two songs.
I’m happy we’re all working together on the rules, but I think at the end of this round and before the next, I’ll gather up all of the definite rules we’ve decided so far into one post that can be pinned to the first page by the mods.

Offline I admit that I misread the rule about people posting not voting – I thought you meant that people who nominated a song couldn’t vote for their own but could vote for the others (but that matters less if it’s only going to be 2 different songs)

Offline So here are the rules for the second round onwards:
– Two posters should come up with two tracks (out of non-album singles, Archive bonus tracks and unofficially released material) as nominations for our ultimate lost McCartney solo album for everyone else to vote on.
– Voting period lasts three days, including the day voting is announced to begin. Peppdog will announce when voting ends anyways if you are worried about time zones.
– If you posted one of the two songs yourself, you are allowed to vote for the other track If you wanted to, but you cannot vote for your own track.
– Ideally, there should be two new songs for each round. However, If more than one person agrees that the losing track is too good to pass off at the end of one round, it can be put up against another track in the next round. But If the track loses that round, it cannot be re-nominated anymore.
Is that everything? Have I wrote anything incorrectly?
Also, before round 2 gets underway, we haven’t even decided the number of songs for this project. I’d go with 12, but if anybody thinks less, I’m happy to change it.
