Offline I love this idea! I don’t know how I would limit this in terms of numbers, because Paul’s “rubbish” could easily take up a 20 CD boxset and I’d listen to every second of it. For an opener I think A Love For You is the way to go, but I’m assuming that doesn’t mean the rest of these songs are eliminated from contention of making the ‘album’ right?

I’d ideally prefer for new tracks to be suggested in the following rounds, but if everyone agrees one song from the three in the last round is so good but wasn’t picked as the final choice, I guess it can be re-nominated. Hope I made sense there.

Offline On the last page I said the deadline for voting is 24 hours after I announced it start (I live the UK, so deadline time for me will be tomorrow at 7pm – because of time zones, I’ll announce when it ends too and hopefully the winning track shortly afterwards) so ideally, I’d like as many Forumpudlians involved and voting possible in that time for this to truly be The Beatles Bible’s Ultimate Lost McCartney Solo Album!
Simply a case of whatever song gets the most votes.

Offline We could try it with this round, and at the end, I’ll ask if everyone was ok with it being that long. If there are requests for it to be shorter, I’m happy to go with maybe 3 days for the following rounds. Otherwise we can carry on that way.

Offline I’d say 3 days is far more reasonable than a week. If we were to do a week long round maybe possibly have multiple rounds going at once? So if more people want to become involved in the project that still have time to vote for past ones, while not causing this thread get stale and untouched if others don’t join in.

Offline Swr seemed very supportive of A Love For You on the last page, so I don’t know if his post back there would count as a vote. Although if that’s accepted, It goes against the rule I made about people who post songs aren’t allowed to vote (as does your actual vote Holey!) But I’m happy to drop that rule if you guys would rather post songs and also vote for others.
If everybody wants 3 days to vote, we’ll go with that as well. It’s been around 24 hours since I announced voting begin, so I don’t know whether this is Day 2 of 3 or if this is the first of the three days.

One thing i’m a little skeptical of is the three nominations per round. If we aren’t going to be re-nominating songs then maybe we should only vote on 2 instead of three so that fewer songs are taken out of contention.
