I just ordered this last night (along with Driving Rain and Run Devil Run ). How is it? I'll get it on Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday. I'll give my review when I get it, but what should I expect?

It's brilliant.
Fine Line is a great opener. I don't really like How Kind of You all that much, but Jenny Wren is a really nice song. It has the same kind of acoustic fingerpicking as in Blackbird . At the Mercy is a bit forgettable, but Friends to Go is pretty good.
English Tea is very… English, I guess? It's very cheesy, but it's a good song none-the-less. Not really a heavyweight lyrically, but it's a fun song. I don't even remember Too Much Rain , to be honest.
Certain Softness is Spanish-inspired, with softly strumming acoustic guitars. The bridge has some fairly high singing, and you can hear his voice strain a bit, but it's a solid effort. It's a good song.
Riding to Vanity Fair is sort of ominous, but that's all I remember of it. I haven't listened to the album in a while.
I don't remember Follow Me either. (I'd listen to them for you, but I can't find my headphones). Promise to You Girl is really good, except for the intro. Once it kicks in, though, it kicks in.
This Never Happened Before isn't really… striking. I don't know, I just don't really like it.
Anyway is brilliant, though. The piano line fits the tone of the song perfectly, and it's one of the best songs on the album, up there with Jenny Wren and Fine Line. There's a nice surprise waiting for you at the end of the album as well.
~Her Majesty 's a pretty nice girl, but she doesn't have a lot to say~
So yeah, you're in for a good listen. There are plenty of good songs, one not so good song, and a couple that I can't remember.
Enjoy!
There's an apple happy face for you. It looks sort of creepy, though…

I love this album, and I’d say it’s definitely in my top five Paul albums! I think all the songs are pretty good, but Vanity Fair, Friends To Go and Too Much Rain would be my favorites from it! What you should expect is something that is really good and so you must be real exited about getting those if you’ve never had them before. Hopefully you get them Tuesday, because I never liked waiting for really esiting things(except Christmas, but that’s probably different) because that usually makes my belly feel funny, and you probably don’t like tha A’ll so mucht either.!?

You definitely didn't waste your money! I love Anyway, Jenny Wren (though I really love the version on The Space Within Us dvd, with Wix on the accordion), Too Much Rain , A Certain Softness, Fine Line, English Tea (very twee, very me…at least he admits it!), and Friends to Go. Most of the songs are great, but if you don't like Heather Mills, some of the songs may make you groan a little when you realize they are most likely about her. If you don't care about the inception of the songs, though, you can just lie back and think of England. My absolute favorite song is Riding to Vanity Fair. It is really a deep song for Paul, who usually is a little more optimistic. This is one of the rare, special songs that allows you to see into some of his anger about always trying to be the strong one and not wanting to take it anymore, not really wanting to keep the happy smile on his face for the sake of keeping the peace. It's a little haunting and very good. Hope you enjoy it!

That IS excellent!
I don’t care for this rendition of Lady Madonna , but everything else is great. (I’m partial ‘coz I love Chaos and Creation).
[Anyone notice how when he plays Bach – it’s Jethro Tull’s “Bourree”?]

Recently bought all three of these as well, along with a few dozen other Beatley CDs, so looking forward to listening to it. Good price MMM

Hope it was worth it. Got Memory Almost Full for 35p and that wasn’t (it was in a cd bin where you took anything you wanted for whatever loose change you had).

^^ Ouch. “Memory Almost Full ” is one of the multitude. I have only heard 3 tracks off it from other places and I liked those, so would have been worth more than 35p to me whatever the rest are like

As some of you know, I picked up this CD in a used record store quite a few months ago and was, to say the least, completely underwhelmed.
With all of the hullaballoo over Macca’s NEW album, I decided I was in a mood good enough to open my mind and finally give CACITBY a second listen.
Good news – this time, I did not feel like throwing it out of my window.

Folks will be pleased with you Zig.
I only got it recently and whilst not blowing me away, i will give it another listen at some point down the line. There were some good moments which deserve to be reheard.
