A (somewhat) infamous attorney-at-law F. Lee Bailey passed away yesterday at the age of 87. Known as the defense lawyer for Dr. Sam Sheppard (on which the shows and motion picture The Fugitive were based), Albert DeSalvo (the “Boston Strangler”), Kidnapped-terrorist-turned-bank-robber Patty Hearst, and alleged murderer O. J. Simpson. What is his connection to Paul? The craziest kind-perpetuating the “Paul Is Dead” urban legend!
From Wikipedia:
Bailey was featured in an RKO television special in which he conducted a mock trial, examining various expert witnesses on the subject of the “Paul is dead” rumor referring to Beatle Paul McCartney . One of the experts was Fred LaBour, whose article in The Michigan Daily had been instrumental in the spread of the urban legend. LaBour told Bailey during a pre-show meeting he had made up the whole thing. Bailey responded, “Well, we have an hour of television to do. You’re going to have to go along with this.” 
The program aired locally in New York City on November 30, 1969, and was never re-aired.

Offline I was browsing YT yesterday evening for some Beatles Content. After some vids the algorythm suggested to me a channel and video which is dedicated to “proof” Paul has died in 66.

I watched one video and had to stop.-
I find it rather scary how people get into this bubble of conspiracy theories. Its so obviuous that Paul is Paul and no Fake Stand in to hide that PMC died in 1966. How can such a stupid and obviuously false rumor spread so much and after all those years still having followers. The whole beeing of Paul is so obviously Paul that doubt the intelligence of those people beliving in it.
But hey…in times where Q is the new messiah I shouldnt be suprised of anything…

Offline Yesterday I posted my new copy of Paul is Live on instagram (kylekartanmg), mocking the rumor just like Paul did with the name and cover of the LP…and all of a sudden some conspiarcy guy came out with his “Paul is dead” account commenting and claiming Paul is dead and I’d be in Love with a lie…
…people are stupid.

Even if they all had a meeting, appointed a head conspirator to take and carry out the test, and the process was filmed by their own team and the result came back as it’s real Paul, they would still claim it’s been tampered with and he has been dead for decades.

You’re right of course. Real Paul fell off the flat earth. Its all so obvious. New Paul is a Reptiloid sent by left wing liberals who want to conquer earth! It all makes sense now

Offline Mostly, I think PID stuff is piddly. However, once in awhile I run into things that don’t quite add up and are a little curious. This video showing Paul and Ringo doing various things surrounding the 50th(?) anniversary of the Ed Sullivan show, for example. You see Ringo consistently taking the front stage and monopolizing the situation while Paul seems like a wallflower in the background and hardly says a peep. That seems quite uncharacteristic of Paul, and I don’t know what to make of it.
