Nah, I got 3 or 4 hours of sleep, so I’m not quite that far gone yet. It wasn’t this topic that kept me up, it was a stomach ache. This thread did keep me entertained until I felt better, though!

I don’t know about anybody else, but I am enjoying this. Except for the fact that @Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^< appears to have pulled an all-nighter to engage this topic. I’m afraid that severe sleep deprivation may turn her into something like William Hurt in Altered States
She’s more sceptical than Sceptic here xD
Hope you’re feeling better, J-girl x)

So let’s say it’s revealed that Paul is Dead by all of the remaining Beatles people, what would happen next? How would this impact people?

It would make the next instalments of All These Years absolutely fascinating.
Depending on who was in on the scam, it would lead to a huge number of lawsuits. From record labels, publishers, concert promoters, ticket buyers, music purchasers. If the family weren’t in on the cover-up they could potentially sue the imposter for a vast amount of damages.
Members of the public would be left reeling at the revelation. Some would express admiration that such an unlikely cover-up could have been devised, enacted and (for the most part) successful. Some would be left angered at the deception. I wouldn’t be surprised if a Mark Chapman-style nutter went on a lone crusade for restorative justice. That would inevitably lead to further conspiracy theories that the FBI/CIA/BBC/BB King were in on the whole thing.
And we’d never listen to I’m Looking Through You in the same way again.

joe Don’t forget Doris Day!
I don’t know what would happen. Paul would end up in jail, I suppose, but he’s no stranger there so that shouldn’t be too big an issue for him
I suppose many people would be very upset. But in the long run, I have no idea what effect it would have. The music would still be great, no matter who made it.
Anyway, many PID believers seem of the opinion that those who don’t agree with them, must never have looked into the matter. That’s not necessarily true. I have looked into it, years ago. And for about five minutes, I was on the fence and tempted to believe Paul did die. Thankfully, that’s when my common sense kicked in. It’s not that I haven’t given it any thought. I have seen more videos and picture comparisons than I care to admit. I just came to a different conclusion than the PID crowd. Having an open mind is great, as long as you make sure your brain doesn’t fall out.
This thread is great fun, though. It definitely keeps me entertained, and it’s the perfect chance to live up to my username Who knows, I might even win that coveted ‘biggest Paulvert’ award at the end of the year…

Just post the article in this thread, Sceptic. In a post. Just make a post like you’ve been making in this thread and paste a link to the article or copy/paste the article into the post. Does that answer your question? If not, keep asking until I understand what it is that you need help with.

I think Sceptic wants to share the Italian Wired article with us, which was more or less hijacked by HerMajesty/Faulconandsnowjob/Plasticmacca.
http://plasticmacca.blogspot.c…..l-was.html
Nowhere in the article does it say they proved Paul was replaced. They said their findings were inconclusive. Interesting detail: all of the comparisons came from SunKing, who’s known for the Rotten Apple videos on YT and had oftentimes been caught using tampered photos.

To be completely clear, @Sceptic, to create a new post in a thread when you are not quoting another post, you will find two buttons at the top and bottom of the posts on each page. They are found on the right hand side of the page. These are those buttons at the top of this page:
These two buttons are repeated at the bottom of the page.
If you press the button I have numbered 1 you are creating a new thread.
If you press the button I have numbered 2 it will open a blank posting box at the bottom of the page, which you just use as you have been doing the posting box that opens when you quote someone.
I tend to scroll down to the bottom of the page and use the reply button there, as I’m sure most do, because that is where the blank posting box will open.
Accepting that you were creating new threads by accident yesterday, I offer you my apologies for allowing my language to get quite so strong. It did, however, in defence of many reactions yesterday, look as if you were ignoring the requests to keep your posts on this subject to this thread.

My brain just had this haha thought: we have this thread for PIDdling. People can PIDdle away as much as they like in this thread. We don’t allow PIDdling in other threads.
I hope someone else finds this post amusing.
