First, if this has been posted previously, I apologize. This is the first time I’ve seen it and I didn’t find it here during a search.
American talk show ‘Later’ hosted by Bob Costas interviewed McCartney in 1991.
The quality of the video is pretty shabby and the editing is really bad, but the thing that strikes me is McCartney lets down his usual guard a bit and talks almost bluntly about a some subjects.
But the thing I took away, probably more than anything else, is Paul McCartney accurately recalling childhood memories and instantly stifling the emotions pinned to them.
So…
There is no Faul. There is only Zuul.

Offline Thanks for posting the interview, @C.R.A.. I am about half way through. I can’t wait to finish watching it tomorrow. I stopped right after the part where Paul talks about how much Yoko came between John and the other Beatles.

Offline Paul was on the Nerdist podcast. Haven’t listened yet, but people at Paul’s board had good things to say about it. And if you’ve seen me mention @midnight on the board, Chris Hardwick is the host and Nerdist his company.
Edit: This interview kicks ass. Really intelligent conversation, respectful without being obsequious. Wish I could have been a fly on that wall.

That interview was mentioned here as being fake. That’s all I know about it. Perhaps someone else has more of a scoop on it.?.?
