Had to work to find out if this story was about Nancy (not Linda or the other one), but I finally figured it out.

The article says Paul and his wife were staying at Phyllis Nickum-Golden’s hotel in west Texas, and she invited them out to her ranch. “I told him about how friends would come out to ride, and he told me I ought to start a business offering rides to the public. So, I did.”
I had to surf the ‘net to find out when this meeting took place. I finally found this statement “Cowgirls, a 2011 start-up,…” So Paul and Nancy must have gone to that hotel and ranch sometime after getting married on 9 October 2011.
I found an article that said this about Phyllis “Born into a family of hoteliers, she has provided exceptional hospitality experiences in areas such as New York, Phoenix, and Seattle…” Makes me wonder if she had met Nancy before she and Paul went to Phyllis’s hotel in Texas. But, perhaps not, since the original article I saw has this facepalm: “When she first got word that a celebrity was going to be staying at the hotel and was told who it was, she was extremely excited because she loved the music of the Beatles. She put Paul in a suite that was all about cattle. Paul is a vegetarian.” However…he did ask to go to a ranch.

Offline I’ll see and raise Beatlebug — I wasn’t even really aware of Paul’s courtship, wedding or even marriage thereafter while it was happening, and only belatedly saw some pics of them together then years later read about their wedding and how Baba Wawa had matchmade them.
