Of course not. You pick the concert you think you’ll enjoy the most. If I had to choose, I’d pick Paul, too. I love Ringo, but I can’t imagine enjoying his shows as much as I enjoyed Paul’s. But good old Richie doesn’t ever seem to leave the US anymore, so it’s not even a choice.

He’s also inching towards the UK each time…Just a little bit further Paul!
Or he can just jump over the Irish Sea (“the most radioactively contanimated sea in the world” as named by Greenpeace, thanks Sellafield!) and come to where the real party is .
Seriously though..it’s been 5 years Paul- too long, too long.
I have just accepted that I will probably never see Ringo live without having to travel somewhere- he hasn’t been here since the year I was born……18 years ago >.>

Maybe he’ll skip over all the British Islands and preform on Sealand.

I haven’t seen him ever… now that’s too long.
I really hope he plays somewhere within the general vicinity of Illinois.
Replace Illinois with NC and you echo my very thoughts.
Silly Girl, I’ve seen Paul twice in NC in the past 5 years or so. You need to grab that next opportunity before he starts slowing down/retires/his voice really goes downhill (I think that rumors of his vocal decline are just a bit exaggerated). Assuming that you have enough cash in hand…pricey tickets, but worth every penny — 3 hours, 30+ songs, excellent show (though to be honest, I wish he wouldn’t play all three of his big “piano ballads.” Dropping The Long And Winding Road and replacing it with a rocker would be appreciated by this fan). And, yes, lose the pyrotechnics during Live And Let Die . Indoor explosions freak me out a bit — I lived in Rhode Island when the Station nightclub fire killed a bunch of people, said fire cased by indoor fireworks. Safe or not, I’d like to see them go.

Noooo, the pyro has to stay! That was bloody brilliant! I agree about TLAWR, though. I wouldn’t mind if he dropped that. In fact, I wouldn’t miss LiB either… Having him spend so much time seated at the grand does take the momentum out of the show a bit, plus he’s much more difficult to see when he’s up there! As far as the piano songs are concerned, I think the ones using the upright are more fun, since they’re more uptempo, and he’s still centre stage when he plays it.
I get why he does it, though. It’s probably the closest he gets to having a bit of a breather during the concert.

It IS pretty impressive when the bombs explode. I’ve been in a concert hall when something caught on fire, had to evacuate my seat (bleachers, no less) in smoke than you could barely see through — that was more than a little scary, so I like to avoid it.
Plus, the room is filled with smoke for quite a while after the pyro lights up, and not the good kind of smoke.
But yeah, the songs on the upright I do enjoy. It’s just Hey Jude , Let It Be , and TLAWR are a bit much, and TLAWR is my least favorite of the bunch. Of Paul’s songs, these three have been played to death (and I’ve played the records to death), so if he dropped all of them, I wouldn’t feel cheated at a show. To choose one to keep, I’d go with LIB , though not being able to sing along to the Hey Jude “na na na’s” would make it seem like something was missing.
Did I just contradict myself?
Who cares? Still an absolutely great concert experience!

Same, I feel awfully guilty about it though. Why?
Because it was 100$ a ticket and I wasn’t allowed to pay for them.
