Next concert near me, several hours away and extremely expensive. $269 per person, $200 for rental spot for RV (which I do not have) or rent an RV they have for over $3000 plus $1000 refundable damage cost or $750 for tent rental, food cost, gas cost, and souvenir cost. Its Bonnaroo kinda like a modern day Woodstock, but more expensive. As much as I want to see Paul, I do not have that money or I don’t think waddling around on sweaty grounds is worth it. Maybe if he comes to New Orleans or possibly Atlanta, depending on my money at the time I would go. He hasn’t been to New Orleans in over decade or anywhere remotely close to me.

I’m hoping he comes back to Ireland, he hasn’t been here since 2009 and it was brilliant. More dates to be released over the next couple of days but so far we have confirmed dates in June for Warsaw and Vienna. Paul’s people says he wants to go to countries he’s never performed in. HOPE!

I keep watching his Facebook page, waiting to see Vancouver or Seattle. Either will work. I am willing to spend more money on tickets this time… must get closer seats!
"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been.. I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene.. Banjos! Banjos! All the time, I can't forget that tune.. and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

He should play on the Apple Corps. rooftop again for the first time in 44 years (and play the same songs that the Beatles played when they played on the rooftop) That would be amazing.
I think he would get ragged on pretty hard if he did that. He already gets ragged on enough for “living in the past,” I just don’t think it would go over very well.
He’s got dates out for Poland and Austria in his Out There Tour.

His manager said last year that Paul’s new album would be coming out in the first quarter of 2013, but obviously he was a little off with that, so I don’t know.

I don’t think he has even started recording it yet, has he? For that reason, I don’t think he’ll be playing any songs off of it, unless he uses the concert to promote it. I don’t really know how this type of thing usually works.
From the PM website:
”The ‘Out There!’ tour will feature music from one of the best loved catalogues in popular music. Paul will perform songs that span his entire career – as a solo artist, member of Wings and of course as a Beatle.”
No mention of him performing songs from his new album.

He’s been working on it a while with different producers. I posted something in the news thread last week about his working with Mark Ronson.
