This is a question I need to ask but probably doesn’t deserve it’s own thread so here it is;
in your iTunes do you have Wings & Paul McCartney categorized separately or do you have it all under Paul McCartney ?

I have them separated. It’s easier to find certain songs that way.

I have them separated too. Sometimes a Wings album downloads as “Paul McCartney and Wings,” but I always change it so it’s just “Wings.”

I have it all under Paul McCartney (after all, he is the Wings) in chronically order, so that it’s super easy to find any song. Any album or single title (starts off with the year in front of it), so that it stays in order.
Here is a Beatles example in iTunes.

Pauls solo career is under Paul McCartney . Wings name would change from album to album, if i bothered looking closely enough probably single by single, making it a mess if it was differentiated by all that.
As with Beatles all the singles of the era are in with the album of the time, tho it gets confusing when Paul pulls songs from years before and releases it when you have outtakes as well. Where do they go? I need to pull together all the Wings live stuff and then Paul live in the 80’s onward tho. They get their own separate folders but still under Paul.

I was going to ask if anyone had separated John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band . . that seems extreme to me but perhaps my way looks redundant to others
One thing I don’t like about iTunes is you can’t set an order to the albums that were released the same year

Take a closer look at my pics. If you put spaces between the year and the Album, it can all be done!
For example in my 1st pic, 1967 MMT is spaced differently than the 1967 Single #3 so that they stay in correct order. Especially since M comes before S
Same with @meanmistermustard ’s issues, it’s all doable!

I want to ask a question about Paul’s mother’s gravesite. I went a a Beatles tour of Liverpool a couple of years ago, and was heartbroken to see that her grave is unmarked, in Yew Tree cemetery. Yes, Mother Mary has no headstone, no grave marker, no nothing. Mother Mary lies in an unmarked grave. What gives? Paul McCartney can’t afford one? One of the world’s most successful songwriter/musician’s own mother, lies unacknowledged.
Edit: I regret posting this. You are right, it’s a private family matter.

Maybe he doesn’t want hordes of Beatles fans making pilgrimages to his mother’s grave?

Maybe, sounds like neglect to me. How many fans would visit? I am just talking about the dignity of a headstone. A memorial. John put a lovely one up for his Mother , I am sure hordes do not make pilgrimages. I did my own Beatles tour, I was shocked to find an unmarked grave.

I am not sure it would be right to blame Paul, @Sceptic. It would seem to me more likely that it’s a family decision which Paul has respected. Paul’s father, Jim, was made more than comfortable by Paul after he found success, yet he chose not to erect to a headstone while he was alive. Paul’s brother, Mike, who can hardly be said to be poor, has also chosen not to erect a headstone.
It could simply be that Paul and Mike are respecting a decision made by their father.

It could be @Ron Nasty. Agree that it’s not just Paul’s decision.
Still, odd.

So I’m kinda in a solo Paul phase at the moment, and I was just thinking that it’d be awesome to hear a version of With A Little Luck played on real instruments instead of all synths. Did they ever play it live like that?
p.s. My favorite solo Paul songs are Coming Up and Junk.

According to this site @limitlessundyinglove (which at this point is being updated the night of each concert), With A Little Luck has never been played live.

It looks like there was a filmed rehearsal of the song in 1980, but it didn’t make the cut. I like it too.

Huh.Even if London Town isn’t a very popular album, I still would’ve thought they would at least do that song. That’s a pretty cool video though.
