Offline Martha died in 1981. Her birthday is actually coming up soon- June 16, 1966. One of her pups Arrow was featured on the ‘Paul Is Live’ album cover

Offline My dad showed me this picture from Twitter. It was the McCartney family in the 70’s, on their farm.
And I was muttering to myself “what’s her name again, I can’t believe I forgot…”
My dad asked “Do you mean Linda?”
And I was like “No, the dog!” “Oh now I remember it’s Martha!”
My parents really thought I was going mad, knowing Paul McCartney ‘s dog… I still tried to explain about the song, but they just asked me if I knew all the names of the chickens as well…

The name is Francie Schwartz. Jane ended the relationship with Paul on 20 July 1968 after walking in on her and Paul in bed. Jane probably had some idea that Paul wasn’t a saint on tour, as other Beatle partners probably knew. But what happens on tour… Paul’s problem was taking it home to the bed he shared with Jane. That was too much for her.
