^^^ You can have a discussion in the aforementioned threads, you know? @Ahhh Girl has dug them out for you, why not make use of it? It just helps to keep the forum in order.

Some of us would even like to hear your view. While I don’t buy into it, I do find the PID theory quite fascinating and amusing, all at the same time.

I got this about how and why Paul used piano strings for his Rosetti guitar:

paulRosetti.jpgImage Enlarger

It’s from Andy Babiuk Beatles Gear (the ultimate edition).

Piano strings in their instruments…so punk …amazing

From what I can remember both were at a function for animal rights. Heather was making a speech and Paul was immediately attracted to her.

The Dail Mail reports it as follows as written by Philip Norman

Certainly no one could have guessed she had a disability when she sprinted on stage at the Pride of Britain Awards in May 1999.

As she delivered an impassioned speech about the plight of amputees, she looked spectacular in a tight red top and white trousers that accentuated her curvaceous figure.

McCartney, who was waiting to deliver an award in honour of his late wife Linda, was captivated. Contrary to reports, however, he didn’t ask to be introduced to Heather — not then.

It was 13 months to the day since Linda had died of breast cancer, and he’d been finding it hard to adjust. Often he’d instinctively turn round to ask her something, then realise afresh that she wasn’t there.

He was also racked with guilt — to the point of having professional counselling — because he hadn’t told Linda what a short time she had left to live.

Heather, for her part, was unaware that she’d already made a powerful impression on the world’s most eligible bachelor. The day after the ceremony, she flew to Cambodia to make a documentary on landmines with British director Chris Terrill.

True to her habitual boast, Terrill was quickly captivated — though it took him ten days, not seven, to propose. Her reply was the single word: ‘When?’

On their return, Paul McCartney invited Heather to his offices and then asked her out to dinner. According to her, they also made a casual arrangement to meet up again in America.

Why did McCartney — normally so shrewd and cautious — fall for a woman who even then was hard to take at face value?

Heather went ahead with her wedding plans. But a week before her planned marriage in August, she told her fiance she was going out to meet her sister. Terrill never saw her again.

Instead, Heather revealed later, she and her sister Fiona jetted off to meet McCartney in Long Island. The affair began in earnest that autumn, with regular trysts at a cottage he owned in Rye near the Sussex coast and at a luxurious hotel suite in London.

They met at the Dorcester Hotel in London in April 1999 when they were both presenting awards at the Pride of Britain Awards.

Heather was engaged to documentary film-maker Chris Terrill at the time, who she got engaged to earlier that year after spending 12 days with him in Cambodia working on a documentary about landmines. With Paul now her new target, Chris’ days were numbered. She dumped him 5 days before the wedding.

Though, of course, being Heather Mills, it was not because she realised it would be a mistake that he joined the long-list of engagements she broke off. No, this broken engagement was because she “discovered” he was a gay, MI6 agent whose mission it was to sabotage her anti-landmine work.

I also read somewhere that he felt guilty that he was attracted to Heather because it wasn’t long since Linda’s passing and cursed himself for it.

Should’ve kept on cursing himself…

He did get a beautiful baby out of his relationship with Heather Mills, so it’s probably hard for him to regret being with her. He seems to enjoy being a dad.

That’s how Paul has chosen to view their relationship. Out of something so awful he has gotten a daughter he will love so much.

One wonders if Heather has been telling Beatrice bad things about her father…

…or if she has enough to balance the scale.

Hope she doesn’t grow up just thinking both her parents are bad.

I hope the love Paul showers on Beatrice will neutralise anything bad Heather occasionally throws in. I’d like to think and believe that the one person Heather wont bullshit is her daughter but i know some parents do.

On the album liner (sleeve) of London Town , it lists Paul as playing the violin. Did he play the violin on the record? If so, which song(s) did he play it on?

I am you as you are you as you are you and you are all together.

They had a fall out recently when Paul didn’t invite him for his wedding to Nancy, while Yoko & Sean got an invite. They might’ve made up, but there isn’t a word about it from both the sides as far as I know.

Well, fallout…. Julian made a big stink of it when in reality, it was more a misunderstanding than anything else. As far as I know, things have been patched up since.
