I’ve been mailing with the guys of event traveling. A month ago I asked for when the tickets for Manchester will arrive. They answered me that it will be digital so I do need to worry about them not arriving before my depature to Manchester. Yesterday I checked my invoice again because I remembered paying extra for international delivery. And yes: I paid 35 € for the shipping of the tickets.

So I wrote them again and told them about it plus adding again that I’d be leaving home for the UK a few days before the concert. Got the answer that they appologised for the missinformation and that the tickets will be papers and going to be shipped 7 to 10 days before the event. They were waiting for them to arrive so they could ship them. Plus they added the info to my booking for when I was leaving for the UK.

I hope they will send the tickets soon. The Tour has started again so tickets should be available for shipping soon.

Hello, I have a general question about the concerts in Manchester and London. Can anyone tell me if the tickets are personalised? As usual I missed the pre-sale, and as usual I decided far too late to give it a go anyway. So I’ve already booked my flight and accommodation and it’s only now occurred to me that it might not be as easy as it used to be to walk around outside the venue and find someone who wants to sell their surplus ticket. I would be very grateful for any information.
Best regards

I can not tell you this yet because I have not received my tickets. I think though that I had to put in the names of my and my fiance when i booked the tickets. So I think that at least the VIP tickets might be personalised. I can not talk for the other tickets though.

I am a little annoyed that its one month away today and I still have not received ANY tickets. I have asked again and got the same answer again: shipping will be 7 to 10 days before the event, maybe sooner. Shipping to germany will take 2 to 3 days.

I am traveling to Manchester December 10th. So if they really ship those tickets 7 days before the event I might be very unlucky…

Its the one thing that keeps me from beeing hyper excited! I’ve got my new passport, I’ve got my anti scared flight medication. Just need those tickets I did pay for…

Guys. Excitement is growing and sleep isn’t on my side these days…

…anyway: Ringo posted on Instagram that he’s been in London on Monday. Sooooooo MAYBE and I don’t dare to say it: he will be on one of the concerts?!?! I’d be totally gone mentally to see them together on stage…

Guys, I am blown away! Completely totally blown away. My ears are numb, body is worn out, voice is gone. It was mindblowing. It was just mindblowing!!! I’ll write more later.

just one critique: the co op arena had very aweful bad logistic Organisation letting people in. We had to wander around in different lines over 1,5h to get in where even arena staff members didn’t know where which line was supposed to be or which line was leading in what entrance. We were walking in lines from one end of the arena to another. I am sure not everyone was inside when Paul started! Very bad Organisation from the Arena!

The Liverpool Echo had a story about people being angry about the problems getting into the venue.

@Ahhh Girl I love how the Co-Op Spokesperson is putting the blame on the people claming that they arrived to early for the concert. Its Macca mate. OF COURSE people want to be there as early as possible to experience this. This was entirely on their part. PLUS he said people only had to wait 20 minutes after the doors opened. That was not the case. Not by far.

We arrived 6:30 sharp! there was a HUGE queue right in front of the gate. The doors of this gate did not open 6:30 but 6:45 pm (estimated because the crowd started moving then slowly). Then we were moving to the bulding but no crew member really knew where we should go. They did make a queue for entrences c+d which was led away from the buildng down a road along some parking places and then back to the bulding up the same road. Then we were led into the next line with barrieres to guiede up and down alongside the entrance. This all took like an hour. We were inside the venue like 7:50 or 7:55 pm. Went to the toilet, got us the VIP merch and then headed inside the hall to our seats. We didnt even had time to get us some drinks. BTW: the Eventravel Mail said: doors closing 8:30 pm BUT Paul started 8:15 pm. I honestly dont belive that everybody made it on time.

The concert itself. I cant say enough about this. THIS WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE EVENT OF MY LIFE. I honestly will never ever experience anything like it. Paul was on fire, the people were on fire. It was just perfect and amazing. I was on such a high the days after and still thinking about it. Seeing Paul life was dream come true, to breath and feel same air and be in his presence. He is extraordinary. He played 2h 45min straight, no break. He is as fit as you can be with his age and he is such a great loving nice person. I will hold this evening as a treasure forever. It was magical.

Fun fact: my fiancee had NO CLUE about the stage show for Live And Let Die and was legit shocked when the fire show started. Her face was fun.

I really really hope that he gets to germany next year. At least for one town, maybe 2 shows. I seriously consider attending both if it happens. Seeing him as much as possible as long as we can. And they really need to release this tour on Bluray.

Also Ronnie Wood during Get Back , PLUS Paul’s 1961 Höfner 500/1 bass, the one that was stolen in 1972 and rediscovered earlier this year. Wow.

I was there at the O2 for the last show! Wow wow wow. The lost bass! Ringo! I screamed and cried and sung until my throat hurt.

The fact that Paul at 82 plays for nearly 3 hours with no break. He still has so much energy and the cheeky Beatle wit. (The fireworks went off at the wrong point in Live And Let Die and Paul laughed through the next line!) The last thing he said was “see you next time.” He is not slowing down any time soon, folks!

I’ll share a snippet of a review of the concert from Far Out Magazine:

As 20,000 voices sing the “na na na nas” of ‘Hey Jude ’, which we’ve all hummed so many times before, I lose my breath again. There are certain songs that we seem to be born knowing. Paul McCartney wrote so many of them and is still here, playing them for us. It’s the sort of concert that my parents, my grandparents, my sister and my friends alike will all ask me how it was and actually want to hear about it as I come home from North Greenwich as if I’ve just returned from seeing God in the form of a musician several generations idolise. But really, the most special takeaway from the Got Back tour is that McCartney is just a man.

A talented man who loves his job and a man who we can only hope will keep playing and keep honouring his incredible history on stage in the only way he knows how and the only way it deserves to be honoured: with live music, a great band and a screaming crowd.
