Monday 5th November 2018 – Ryogoku Kokugikan
most intimate Japanese concert ever at the historic Ryogoku Kokugikan. This concert will take place when Paul brings his new ‘Freshen Up’ tour to Japan at the end of October for two shows at the Tokyo Dome as well as visiting the city of Nagoya for the first time for a show at the Nagoya Dome.
With a capacity of 7000, this venue is a fitting choice for Paul as he has long been a fan of sumo wrestling. On previous tours Paul has made time to watch the wrestling and often commented on how much he likes it.

Offline It’s less than a month until I see Paul!!!
I am honestly so excited, every now and again when I’m walking down the street I remember that I’m actually going to be seeing real-life Paul McCartney and it’s very difficult to refrain from jumping up and down whilst squealing.
It honestly wouldn’t surprise me if I was this girl come the 5th of December.

I vividly recall the anticipation prior to my first McCartney concert (Flowers In The Dirt tour): The thought of FINALLY seeing my childhood, teenage, young adult and middle adulthood musical idol really had my pulse racing – 25 years I’d waited; and the anticipation just kept rising until the moment he appeared on stage.

Offline I’m flying to Vienna tomorrow morning (have to be up for a taxi at 3am, blah). Am honestly so excited, I’m jumping up and down every time I think about it, and I think all of my classmates are bored silly of me talking about Paul.
I hope, because it’s December, that’ll he play Wonderful Christmastime but I doubt it.
