I was thinking (hopefully prematurely) that it will be a coincidence that both the Beatles last concert and Paul’s last concert will have occurred at a California baseball stadium. (Candlestick Park & Dodger Stadium) Note – Paul had already stopped performing Yesterday , so that final performance would be on Halloween 2018 at the Tokyo Dome.
Glad I was wrong about Paul’s touring days ending. He just added a second show in my area and he is seen on tv ads at least 10 times a day. I wonder if Yesterday will return to the setlist? After what we’ve all been through the last few years, I think we need a little “I believe in yesterday”.

Are you going to see him? I’m so jealous of ye in North America. I can’t imagine I’ll ever get a chance to see him play live at this stage.

sigh butterfly, RubeMy hot take is that after the Beatles split they went down the paths of spiritualism, solipsism, alcoholism, and Paul McCartney

I’m mostly sticking to small venues these days, except for occasional chaperoning with family teenagers and such. I don’t think Paul could possibly surpass the awesome 1990 concert experience I saw, but I’m still excited he is coming to town.
