The bass of Mr. Vanderbilt is a wonderful thing too!…

@Rita Eleanor, Mrs. Vanderbilt is the song that Paul played at his concert in May 2013 that propelled me into being one of his adoring fans. The song will always hold a special place in my heart.

However, technically, Mrs. Vanderbilt isn’t a Beatles song. This thread is devoted to McCartney during his Beatles years. I just wanted to head things off at the pass. Let’s keep this as a Beatles-only thread.

@Ahhh Girl, Excuse me! I really should have paid attention that was directed only to the low of Paul in The Beatles. Ah, oddly enough, this song is also very important to me, because Paul touched her on the show in May 2013 in Belo Horizonte (but I went because I was already a fan). Hugs and sorry again!

Nobody told me there'd be days like these!!

No problem, @Rita Eleanor. If The Beatles hadn’t broken up, we wouldn’t have this problem of Beatles and post-Beatles/solo. :-) Oh, well, the four guys had to do what they had to do. I still love ’em all.

You sure? Who knows? Even if they’re still together that doesn’t mean Paul may not want to try solo stuff!!!!

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

Baby You’re A Rich Man is pretty good as well as She Came In Through The Bathroom Window . Both great baselines.
