I have been thinking of picking up the local (Australian) CD of ‘Chaos and Creation ……’ but it has a copy protection notice on the back of the case.  Does anyone have experience of how restrictive that makes it?

I would like to play it in the car but heard that may be an issue, plus I assume I couldn’t put a few of the songs on my mobile player?

It really annoys me that this sort of thing happens, and only in a few countries.

It’s designed to keep you from ripping the tracks onto your computer, that’s all.

It’ll play fine in any CD player you own.

If you already own it, I see very little issue with seeking out the torrent file for your mp3 player, but that’s just me.

E is for 'Ergent'.

My Let It Be Naked cd came with copy protection. Ripped fine on to my laptop.

Thanks for the info all – may give it a go on payday.

[EDIT] Just bought it – will report back on how well it plays on various devices around the house.

Well – only a year or so late – it plays fine on my main system so that will do for me :)
