Nice video! I like the “We will bridges – Up to the sky” section.
@meanmistermustard Never heard that version of “Love Awake” MUCH better than the one on the album.

I like the video – poor Paul is getting a lot of flak on gaming forums for being irrelevant – bad luck for those who don’t ‘dig’ him

They should’ve had him play a guitar or his bass, his hands don’t seem to really know what to do and it looks awkward.
I was thinking the same. Probably a musical instrument wouldn’t have been appropriate for the character, but he definitely looks lost otherwise.

@trcanberra “poor Paul is getting a lot of flak on gaming forums for being irrelevant”
I’m guessing gamers are in their teens and twenties mostly. I would have hoped that that demographic might take to McCartney the way people take to Tony Bennett even if they’re much younger than he is – but from what you’re saying, I guess not.

Was watching 50 First Dates the other night – getting ready for when I might have my first in 30 years or so
Anyway, had forgotten Another Day was in the soundtrack, with some Beach Boys as a bonus.

i’ve got a lot of Paul’s bootlegs, (Paul, first i have bought all of your records!).most are live of Wings. the ones of 72 are interesting, though the sound is awful. in the beginning they sounds very rough, different from what they would become in the following years. his best bootleg for me is The piano tape. Paul alone (maybe in L.a. in 74) at the piano plays an incredible series of tunes, much of them unreleased at the time. wonderful

two beautiful tracks not included originally on any album -they were after included in the Pipes Of Peace cd edition- are Simple as that, a great reggae for the Anti heroin project; and Twice in a lifetime,a great ballad, originally in a soundtrack ( i don’t remeber the film now). actually the two tunes are far better than any of the Pipees of peace songs!

Never been a fan of ‘Simple As That’ as its such a cringing song to me when i hear it, the lyrics in particular.
‘Twice In A Lifetime’ is better but feels like it goes on too long despite only lasting for 3 minutes.

Another Kanye collaboration is available at iTunes – this one featuring Rhianna. It’s called FourFiveSeconds.
Here’s a Billboard article. And here’s a YouTube link, though I doubt it’ll be up for long.
Really nice harmonies on this.
