Not angry – again, nothing’s as black and white as you think. You should try inserting that phrase when reading other people’s posts. When you try to tell someone “It’s ________ whether you think it or not” you’re doing the opposite. You’re trying to assert an objective truth that doesn’t exist.

One, I’m not a moderator so I can’t enforce anything.

Two, remember this current delightful exchange wouldn’t be happening if you didn’t take a comment I made a few weeks ago completely Out Of The Blue to come to an arbitrary conclusion about my thoughts on the Kanye West collaboration.

Living and letting live means understanding that people don’t think the way you do and making peace with it, rather than finding new and exciting ways to tell them how they should think.

I don’t have a problem with your opinion of the collaboration. Let me have mine. If it changes, it will be due to the output of the rest of the songs, not because you keep looking for opportunities to harp on it.

All in my opinion, of course.

Agree to disagree and then move on and let it go. If you think someone else is talking crap then fine they very well might be but there is no point in going on and on and over it all the time. All that ends up happening is irking yourself, the person you’re irked at and everyone else who bothers reading the conversation.

Parlance, sometimes you come off a bit like a condesscending school teacher who feels that all the “children” should see things the way she does. That is why I, in turn, tend to make absolutist statements that I know you will disagree with (because I don’t think you like it too much when others express opinions you disagree with or find “incorrect” by your superior standards).

That being said, I apologize for trolling you. I am completely in the wrong and apologize for judging you.

Well, that first part was just “in my opinion.” You can disregard it. We live in a sea of relativism with nary an objective truth anyway, right? Unless the objective truth belongs to me or you personallly, then it pertains to everyone.
