Kanye’s latest with Paul at Consequence of Sound, called “All Day.” Paul whistles at 4:18. Someone commented that the part he sings is:“Well well well, Let me run ! Let me run to see my game undone. You’ve been right in my face. Let me run ’till you’re off my case”.
The beat’s okay, but I almost skipped ahead to Paul’s part due to the constant presence of the n-word. I’ve been okay with the first two singles, but I’m disappointed Paul took part in this one because of that.

Yeah, it takes a while to get used to hearing people say “nigga”. The rhyming on that one is lazy, but the music is great. Definitely my least favourite of their collaboartors so far.

^^ I don’t ever need or want to get used to the n-word (note I don’t write it out either).
Examiner article quoting a 2013 NME interview with Paul in which he mentioned Kanye:
Speaking of which, the last gig he went to and really enjoyed? Kanye West and Jay Z’s Watch The Throne show at the O2 last year – aka the moment when, Paul says with a straight face, he finally got rap. “I was expecting it to be, ‘Oh it’s great, it’s hip hop, it’s loud…’, but I hadn’t until then got the urban poetry aspect,” he remarks, rather sweetly. “Like, Bob Dylan is a poet. And so is Jay Z, and Kanye…” But what he’s after from new music, he says, is the same thing that’s driven him all his life – “mood” music that does away with formula but still appeals to the masses.

Whilst I understand why some African-Americans are quite tetchy about it, there are actually two words. When used between black people, the reclaimed “nigga” is not usually considered offensive. Being “disappointed” with Paul for collaborating on a song where a black man reclaims a racial slur seems puritan and somewhat ignorant, though I respect how it might offend you if you’re used to hearing similar words used in a pejorative context. Similarly, quoting something someone else said.

Please don’t lecture me about the n-word. I’m not merely “tetchy” about it. It’s a word with an extremely violent and deadly history that you clearly need to educate yourself about. And don’t make generalizations about what Black people say or how they react. If people say it around me, I let them know I consider it offensive. There’s nothing “puritan” about that, and being aware of the history of the word is the exact opposite of ignorance. If you actually believe that, you’re not showing respect at all, and you’re not being hip or cool by using or approving the use of the word. And if a Black person ever called their parents or anyone else in a position of authority that word, they’d probably be lucky to walk away with a smack.
And that “er” vs. “a” or “ah” ending is one of the stupidest arguments people use to justify using it. Whatever reasons some Black people might have for using it, that’s not a loophole for the rest of the world. It’s the same damn word. You’re just putting a different inflection on it.

Ok, I noticed there are a lot of Macca’s A & B-Sides that aren’t mentioned, as the man just seems to have written soooooooo many songs, and obviously most of them have not made it to album. I’m sure I’m missing some rare stuff here, like The Firemen etc…….
1971 A side single – Another Day (A side, but never made it to album)
1971 B side single – Oh Woman Oh Why (good Macca screamer)
1972 A side single – Give Ireland Back To The Irish (A side, but never made it to album)
1972 Unreleased – Thank You Darling (Linda singing)
1972 A side single – Mary Had A Little Lamb (A side, but never made it to album)
1972 B side single – Little Woman Love
1972 A side single – Hi Hi Hi (A side, but never made it to album)
1972 B side single– C Moon
1973 B side to Helen Wheels – Country Dreamer.
1973 A side – Live & Let Die (A side, but never made it to album)
1973 B side – I Lie Around (was mentioned on one of the pages)
1973 Unreleased – Mama’s Little Girl
1974 Double A side – Juniors Farm & Sally G
1977 A side – Mull Of Kintyre (A side, but never made it to album)
1977 B side – Girl School
1979 A side – Wonderful Christmas Time (not sure what was on the other side)
*** Sorry, but after 1980, I didn’t care as much for Macca’s stuff! though I am slowly starting to appreciate it.

“FourFiveSeconds” CD: The Paul McCartney -Kanye West-Rihanna single “FourFiveSeconds” has quietly turned up on CD on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de. The other two collaborations, “All Day” and “Only One,” are only available digitally, though the very graphic “All Day” is available in an alternate clean version. Well, at least you’re beginning to see that Paul working with Kanye was a bad idea.

What you repeatedly fail to understand with your absolutist statements is that they are merely opinions. As are mine. But I don’t try to tell you what you are thinking because that would be obnoxious.

Just always mentally insert the phrase “in my opinion” after everything I write, and you won’t get angry about it.
