Considering his “The Beatles only ever sang about peace and love” i doubt Paul wants to bring any attention to such a track as Run For Your Life .

Singer loves his little girl so much he won’t give her any peace. It almost works.

Paul hasn’t done “Carnival Of Light :(

Does he do any songs live that give him the opportunity to pick up the electric guitar? And maybe do some soloing? “Sgt. Pepper ” perhaps? I know nothing about the post-“Wings Over the World/America” live Paul McCartney experience…

How do you perform Carnival Of Light after 50 odd years and it’s hard to get all the effects they used!

By hook or by crook, I'll be last in this book.

Considering outside of a very select group of people i doubt many would know it even if Paul did perform it live – which he wont.

Wouldnt Paul play electric for his solo on ‘The End ‘?

You don’t try to repeat what you did before in a free-form improvisation! You just make a lotta noise and do something new for ten minutes or so. It would be different every show, audience could shout “Barcelona!” or maybe their own city, or whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted. He could invite Yoko and Sean to add some freeform shrieking & guitar feedback when he played in NYC! Different Macca fans would capture all the different permutations with their phones and post them to a special thread at Maccafan.net or wherever!

Can anybody identify for me the performance on page 2 that Mithveaen posted and that everybody hates? I can’t see it here…

EDIT: Thanks meanmm; didn’t know Paul was performing “The End ” at all.

I think she was referring to this:

He uses electric guitar on Paperback Writer , I’ve Got A Feeling and Let Me Roll It among other songs over the years.

I don’t think you could do Revolution 9 . It’s a sound collage and not easy to reproduce.

(vonbontee this is my celebratory avatar for special occasions (courtesy of Anna). Today I’m testing it to see how it looks. Congrats for spotting!!!)

Seeing ‘P.S. Love Me Do ‘ makes me weep inside, it sucks so badly.

I’m not sure i could stand a 10 minute improvised anything goes shriek along guitar feedbackathon with audience input. a-hard-days-night-ringo-14

I bet Paul has never performed “Six O’Clock” live in any concert.  It would be cool if he carved out just say a half hour in the middle of the show, and announced it as “This is my ‘I don’t give a sh__’ interlude where I play songs I like and don’t care if you like them or not” — including “Six O’Clock”, “Mary Had a Little Lamb”, “Teddy Boy “, “I Am Your Singer”, “Only One More Kiss”…

Just to have this in a second place (how bad of me is that), if he hasn’t done Girl live, I know when and where I would like him to do it. Heck, even if he has done it live before, I wouldn’t mind hearing it for myself.
