As we enjoyed our drinks, someone asked me how I felt. And my response was, “Ummmm, dksjalkjlajdgl *giddy* sakljdaslksdflk heeheeheehee.” Another coworker won’t let me live that down.
Hilarious.
Congrats on the success of your video.

I forget if I ever commented in the thread that got deleted, but I just have to say a big WOOOW and CONGRATULATIONS to Parlance! It’s a great video and I’m sure you made Paul very happy by showing him that his music makes you happy. And the hot chocolate story is adorable and hilarious. Bask in the love and accomplishment! You deserve it.

Parlance, your video gives the song a really nice context, and it would be good to see them linked in some official manner. (Are there “official” videos of songs? There should be.)
Thank you for your kind words! Well, the links at FB and Twitter are definitely official, and the top comment on the video itself is from Paul’s account since they also posted from his Google+!

I watched the video the day it appeared on my facebook home page and loved it right away! Scrolling though this forum these last few days, it felt really nice to find out that the person who made it was just another Beatles fan, but also a fan who made something so beautiful that got recognized worldwide. Amazing job parlance! *wipes away a joyful tear, being unreasonably too sensitive*

Well, I don’t know what it says so I’m hoping Linde sees this, but it looks like a Dutch Beatles fanclub profiled the video. Might just be a translation of the Macca Report article.

Google’s translation:
A Paul McCartney fan , decided to make her favorite song on ‘ New ‘ , namely ‘ Appreciate ‘ , a video, but she never expected that Sir Paul would notice .
He did more than that . A few days ago a link to this video was posted on his official Twitter and Google+ site .
She had never made ??a video , but with the help of her friends, teachers , and strangers , the project came about . It was her idea to allow people to keep up with words that reflect what is important to them . Signs on The strength and sincerity of the words that the participants showed , in combination with the music of McCartney brought out a clear message to the viewers . How could Paul miss that ? The video was motivated by selfless love, not only those of the photographer , but also that of people who could appreciate that someone somewhere for deployment .
She explains how the video came about: The video was a combination of a school , and my love for the song . I had requested a few times on the radio and promoted , and I played it to anyone who would listen . But I never got the idea to make a video . For That was the idea of ??min girlfriend. When they suggested it , I thought, a real video ? Anyway , with dancers ? Luckily I came when a simpler idea. I read the text again and that seemed to suit a tribute , by allowing people to keep up with texts about the people and things they value , especially now that the holidays for the door again . Plates on very well
I made all the images over two days at school with my DSLR camera . My girlfriend and I took turns strangers approach : basically anyone who did not look like they were on their way hastily to a lesson . We asked if they wanted to help with a video about the things in life that mean a lot to them . It was pretty scary to us , in the beginning, but we were encouraged when they said yes . She relaxed as we were told that they did not have to say anything. There were some who were very creative in decorating their plates . Occasionally there were even people who saw the camera and asked us if they could come in the video.
Because I studied in photography , I also went to a few classes where photography was given and begged people to help me. Some did , I even got a couple of teachers extent that they participated. It helped that there were at a few people I knew , because I could ask you to stay long enough to try different ideas as to what the woman in the chorus that made the Jiu- Jitsu move.
Besides myself, there are still two other Beatles fans in the video ( which I know anyway) . The teacher who sign with La Dolce Vita stops and one of my classmates in photography . The latter was a surprise to me, I asked him to join in the video for a song called ” Appreciate ” and he said , ” Oh , from the album of Paul McCartney ” I was flabbergasted .
Everything at the last image after it is recorded on the school grounds . One Sunday , I drove on Melrose Avenue and I found the mural against Paul’s album cover , and I was delighted! Luckily I had my DSLR with me , because that mural was painted over a week later . It took me about three days and nights took to edit the video and post it on my own deadline , ie Thanksgiving. And I did it !

Has it got to the point where they are asking you what colour teeth you have and what you dream of yet? You know, the real tough, deep meaningful question they hit the Beatles with.

Can someone/someones please do me a favor and try out the YouTube link in my sig? I tried to show someone the video today, and it came up as “video not available.” But just now I had no problem pulling it up, but maybe that’s because it’s in my cache. Luckily, it’s on Vimeo too, but I just want to know if anyone else is having problems playing it – particularly on a mobile device.
Thanks!
