So I found this website, http://www.wingspan.ru/books.html . The page I’ve linked to contains an a link to just about every McCartney book of note which you can read online! Free. The site has magazine articles and sheet music and… Well, it’s amazing.
The difficulty is that the headers and descriptions are all in Russian; at least I think it’s Russian! But the content is largely in English. Surf around for a bit… Well worth it!

Yup… There is NO way that 90% of it should be up on the site but I’m glad it is (unless it’s screwing Paul in some fashion).

Yup… There is NO way that 90% of it should be up on the site but I’m glad it is (unless it’s screwing Paul in some fashion).
I had to laugh at that. Yeah, poor Paulie. Now he will have to buy domestic heated toilet seats instead of imported.
But seriously, if I were an author, I don’t think I would appreciate my stuff being posted online for free. However, I doubt that Paul will be affected much by this; if at all.

I’ve been using that site for a couple of years now. It’s great for when I don’t have a copy of Anthology or Many Years From Now to hand. I’ve never mentioned it before because I didn’t want it to be shut down.
It’s quite hard to navigate, for me at least, because it’s mostly in Russian. The back issues of Club Sandwich (McCartney’s fan club magazine) are there somewhere too – if anyone can find an index page for all of them please post the link. I’ve only ever come across random issues/pages by Googling.

Well it’s entirely up to you, and the cat’s out of the bag now. But if I was one of the authors whose books have been pirated I’d be pretty unhappy.

No worries… If you have an IPad you can open the NME file in the kindle app. I assume the same with using a Kindle. Makes it easier to read.
